primary school -

Care bears and my little pony magazines
smelly erasers
lolo balls
bringing in little mascots - mine was a toy monkey
friendship bracelets


Secondary school

Making faux braces out of a paper clip
perms
rucksacks to be worn on only one strap
making your ankle socks into trainer socks
wearing socks ontop of your tights
plaiting bits of hair and putting beads at the bottom
fake tattoos of the acid smiley face
skinny ties
stupidly high platform shoes
those clicky hand warmer things

In Primary school we had all these stupid handstand games I remember one was called I am the champion, someone shouted that out and everyone shouted oh no your not not for the longest, clapped and all did handstands and whoever stayed up for the longest was the champion next, awww those were the days lol

My mother caught me frightneing
She said go to bed
I said no
She said GO!!

Then u did ur handstand and who ever held up the longest won!!

All of the secondary school ones sound very familiar to me too. I always had a bottle of Body Shop Dewberry spray and one of their lipbalms in my school bag. I was also an avid Smash Hits reader in my teens, I say reader, it was the boyband posters I mostly bought it for Red Face
