Yeah I remember that too - very cool (at the time at least) Motormouth, Racoons, Ghost Train, Trap Door, were also a must! So was the original He-Man, but can't remember if that was a Saturday morning one.

My favorite was repeats of 'The Partridge Family' - I had a crush on David Cassidy! I've had so many star crushes it's pitiful.

Had to be the BBC every Saturday morning - Swap Shop then Saturday Superstore.

I loved Live and Kicking when it was on. I don't think the BBC have done anything as good as that sinse then. I also liked SMTV and started watching it when Live and Kicking ended. Ant and Dec are great.

I loved grover in sesame street, oscar, bert and ernie as well! Watched "the banana spilts, champion the wonder horse, tiswas, saturday superstore, god there is so many, much better then, then what ism shown on today.

I remember all those but my favourites were Number 73 with Sandi Toksvig,Frank Sidebottom and Roger Ramjet and Get Fresh with Gilbert the Alien and Centurions!
Also, going back even further I liked Tiswas, particularly for the stunner Sally James. Never was a big fan of Saturday Swapshop or Superstore apart from the "I wanna be a winner" record that the Saturday Superstore Team released.
(Also, being Scottish I used to watch Glen Michaels Cartoon Cavalcade - any other Scots on this forum? The English equivalent would be Rolf's Cartoon Club. )

It was called the Adventure Game. Gronda Gronda! The grid at the end was called the vortex (I think)and there was a talking plant in it and there was a scary thing called the Salamander. Every week celebrities had to solve clues and it had a young Moira Stewart in it.
