Just wondering what there favourite animal and why?

Mine would have to be a Dolphin just because when they have there mouth open they look like they are laughing. They look so lovely one thing I would love to do is to adopt a Dolphin when I am older and even go somewhere I can swim them that would be my ideal Dream. To go and do that.

I love all aminals, cant decide which are my favourites, not too keen on spiders and snakes. I did handle a pet rat once, he was lovely.

i love all animal but i would have to say that i love dogs the most!
i have grown up with a dog in my family since i was 3!
for the last 2 years i haven't lived with one because i am in a flat! my family dog had been living with my dad until he died and then my little brother until she died at the age of 17!she did really well, bless her...it still feels weird not having one around, but i do want one someday - so that my boys can experience the joys of having a dog, that i knew as a kid!
having said that my baby is still a bit too small, so they will have to settle for the 2 golden retrievers that my in-laws have got - when we go and visit!
mind you, by the time that we get a house with a garden - the baby will be big enough to appreciate the dog!
so yes....dogs and cats are my favourites, but i love rabbits too...!

My favourite animal has to be a Bull Terrier.

I am absolutely crazy about them and have been for years. I fell in love with this breed at an early age and always wanted one. My parents wouldnt let me have one so I had to wait until I had my own home.

I have owned 3 Bull Terriers and I would never own any other breed, as they are so unique in their ways and quirky nature.

We were there on the 8th November, luckily I didnt have to go on TV as Pink took Teri on there.

It was a great experience, so busy and so much going on behind the scenes.

Teri also met the blue peter dog.

SmileI love most animals but dogs and cats are one of my favourites as you can have them in your home and can give so much love

I had one of both but sadly they have died, if I was ever left alone I would get one for company esp dogs as they get you out when you would have stayed in,

Glad you enjoyed your experience and did the doggie get a home. Always pleased that Paul highlights the needs of the rescue dog.

Hi Seaslug.

Sadly little teri is still looking for a home. There was a lot of interest in her but unfortunately most of the applicants were inappropriate.

We have to be certain that these Bullies get rehomed to the right home and its forever.

We did however rehome two of our longer standing bullies due to the show as people looked at the website and found a forever companion.

So Teri is still looking for a home along with lots of other bullies. The main thing is she is safe and cared for at the moment.

Lou

Hi Lou,

So Sorry to hear that shes not yet got a new home but so agree with all you say being involved with rescue for many years. At least as you say she is safe and cared for and thats what matters. At Least Pauls show highlights the rescue dog and hes the only one that I know does so Hats off to him. Take care.

I totally agree with you...Paul does an excellent job of high lighting the rescue dogs.

Which rescue do you work for?.

I also wonder if the other dogs that were on the show with Teri have found their forever homes yet?.

I grew up with lots of cats and they are far more independent than dogs. Not to say that arent nice but I would think it more difficult for Paul to have them in the studio as it would have to be a very calm cat. Maybe he could do a VT of cats home of some that are hard to rehome without being in the studio.

Hi Lou (Atlantaheo)

Sorry hadnt got back to replying to you. Yes I have a fair few animals, all rescued, ones been on the show but for a comp. Im not a rescue home as such, just worked in it. Home visits, and taking on very poorly dogs and bringing them back to health. I have a poor little whippet that was dumped and left for dead but she is fine now. I have had some traumatic experiences with some of them, but in all I love them to bits. Up until recently I had involment with some rescue, but these days I just concentrate on my own. In the summer we go to a lot of country shows and I try and promote the types of dogs they are as they are hundreds in rescue. Every little helps I think and thats why I admire Paul and his Team for highlighting it on the Programme. Not that I dontlike Paul anyway but its even better cos he is such an amimal softie. Only the other night I was in tears over Marcs emergency clinic but sadly it happens all the time.

Dogs have to be my fave, as they are always there to comfort you when you are upset. Dogs seem to pick up on when you are upset or worried about things.

They certainly do. Last year I had some sort of virus and was in bed for about three weeks. One of my dogs constantly did this low wining until she was allowed to get on the bed. Once there she just laid by my side and wouldnt move.

My little female Bullie will sleep in my bed with me, she loves being all snuggled up under the duvet.
