When I went to the show last week the warm up man asked two girls to compete against each other by collecting various items from the audience. I thought it was funny until he asked them to collect somebody's false teeth. I did not think that was funny at all. I was surprised that people from the audience offered their false teeth and if I was one of those girls I would have refused to hold somebody's teeth in my hand.

was it Andy ? that doesn't sound like his normal routine, he usually does the same thing every day Roll Eyes Big Grin

i have seen numerous warm-up people and Andy is the regular at POG. my least favourite is a guy called Roycie ... he asks for people's mobiles and sends rude txt messages, it may be him !

Eletra i think your find it was Andy. When i went last Tuesday he got two blokes out at the front and asked them to do things.

He mostprobably runs out of ideas and gets people out from the audience more.

Everytime I went it was Andy except one occasion when this tall skinny blond guy came flying out from the wings and made every one jump. Not sure what he was on though but must have been good he was so hyper. Dont know what his name was though.

Got to love the Paul O'Grady special dance move lol Big Grin - it was really funny when all the blokes had to do the dance!

I'm shocked that Andy seems to have changed his routine since then though, that doesn't sound like him at all! Eek There's no way that I'd hold false teeth in my hand though!

yeah im hoping to go again in january but if you can go then you should cos it is such a laugh and the warm up is hillarious. There is one thing he said to someone and i know i would be well insulted if he said it to me, but over all it is very funny.

i know, i have lost count how many times i have seen Andy at POG and it doesn't sound like him at all .... he usually gets 2 guys to do Mission Impossible etc... picks on 2 guys and says he is glad to see them out together etc.... and gets an old lady to rub her hand down his chest, then says ' your hand is shaking, shame to waste it' LOL

he does the same thing over and over and over lol

I think it is a very good idea to get the audience involved and to bring variety, especially for those who go to the show frequently. In fact I found it very entertaining but the false teeth business was of very poor taste in my opinion. Of course it made others laugh. I think he also said when he looked at the teeth that he could see cornflakes stuck to them. I felt very sorry for the poor girl who was holding the false teeth. It would't be so bad if he provided her with plastic gloves or some wet wipes to clean her hands afterwards. The other girl did not participate.

Yeah I think he should definitely have provided plastic gloves for hygiene reasons - I bet he wouldn't hold them in his own hands!
