Hi, I get really jealous of all you folks who've seen the show and met Paul, I'd love to go but am disabled and understand there's a lot of queueing to do. I did send an e mail asking if there were stairs etc, but never had a reply. I've never missed a programme and think Paul is one of the most genuine people on tv, I think he deserves a knighthood!! Do you think we ought to start a campaign? regards, Hazel (new girl )
If you are in a wheelchair there is no reason why you shouldn't go to see the show, everytime i have been there have been people in wheelchairs in the audience.
You need to advise Lost in TV, the site where you book your tickets, that you are in a wheelchair and they will make a note of it.
You get taken through to the studio before the rest of the audience are allowed in to make sure that you are comfortable etc.
Please don't be put off going just because you are in a wheelchair...it would be an experience you'd never forget.
I have been loads of times and each time have met Paul after and taken loads photos of him, got his autograph etc. You sometimes have to wait a while for him to come out - i waited 2 and a half hours once...but it was well worth the wait. The usual wait is about an hour, unless he is shooting off somewhere to an engagement, then he comes out quicker.
I agree with you - he most certainly does deserve a knighthood, or at least some recognition from the Queen...an MBE or OBE or something. What that poor man has been through in his life is heartbreaking, and he still gets nothing. He does get our undying love and dedication though.
Anyway, all the best and i hope you get to see the show.

Depending on your disability, they let the disabled in first, wheelchair users, people who cannot walk far etc, then they normally put you at the very front, (in front of the first row of seats. When you get tickets, it asks that if you have any special requirements regarding disability, to let them know the day before the show, so they can sort out the requirements for you. Hope this helps. You want to go to the show, as it's a life changing experience. I've been about six times now, and it's better in the studios than when they show it on tv. Welcome to the forum.
When I went , back in June I was sat right behind the people in the front and was so jealous coz Paul kept talking to them in the breaks as though they were old friends (they may have been ) but anyway my point is don't let the fact that your'e in a wheelchair stop you going coz you will have a really great time !! I can't wait to go again !
many thanks to everyone for the information, it was most helpful, I shall have to give it a go but first now have to find the easiest and best way to London, thanks again, best wishes Hazel
Hi Thanks for all the info about the show and meeting/not meeting Paul (see earlier thread) it has been really helpful. I think I will have to go during the next series for a live show. Just glad to be going really!!!

Depending on where you live, try Megabus, I travelled to London, a few times by them, the last time I went in the car, as i did some xmas shopping.
When we went last october we went by National Express, we were going to go again this weds 10.01.07 but recent tragic events involving this coach company have put us off and we are still not sure if we want to travel with them again, we cant go by train cos my mum hates trains, neither of us can drive, we cant get anybody to take us so we have had no option but to cancel the tickets. I would love to go and see Paul again but circumstances are against us.

I'm in a similar position as not only do i have osteoarthritis and can't walk very far, I'm also a carer so time off is very difficult. I have to tape the show every day and then watch it when I can during the following day. It's good to read what you guys say about each show before I actually get to watch it.
