PAUL O’GRADY needs some TLC – he’s been struck down AGAIN.
The star was hit by a virus and had to take last week off.
Now we can reveal he had to go to hospital this week for X-rays after fainting.
Paul, 52, told us: “I fainted in the shower on Monday morning.
“I was taken to the London Hospital and they X-rayed my legs, my chest and my arm.
“But it turned out just my foot had swollen so I went to work. But as soon as I sat in front of the cameras I started sweating. I was in a half daze.
“Thank God I had Wendy Richard on as a guest, she’s a mate and helped me. And Melanie Sykes has been fantastic.”
Delirious
Doctors ordered him to take the rest of the week off from his Channel 4 teatime show.
Paul added: “I feel terrible, every time I get up I’m dizzy. I’ve been delirious. I’m rattling with antibiotics.
“But I’ll be back next week — I don’t care if it’s in a wheelchair!”
Ex-EastEnder Shane Richie had been booked as a guest for tomorrow’s show, which was being pre-recorded yesterday.

Instead the actor found himself guest presenter.
A show source said: “It’s been hair-raising for production but we’ve managed to sort it out.”
Mel was Tuesday’s host and Sun columnist Lorraine Kelly stood in last night. Comic Brian Conley is in the hot seat tonight. Paul has been under medical supervision since suffering two heart attacks, the last almost two years ago.
During each six-month stint of his show he has taken a couple of weeks off. He was due a holiday in a fortnight — which he will still be taking.
