It's no where near as good as pauls and is slightly tacky (just thote id say that before my head gets bit off XD )


But its NOT bad!


And it's set in manchester (added bonus wahey :P)


So im tempted to get a pair of tickets and ask a mate to come watch it with me )


Cause thats the only downside to pauls show, i cant get to it!!

I think he should stick with acting. I didn't like what i saw of his show. At least Paul will be back in 4 weeks

i thort the show was nowhere near as good as pauls. i love antony cotton aswell but the show is a big no no. he will no way beat paul in the ratings i didn't watch it all i just kept flickin backwards and forwards to c wot it was like.

i watched it tonight and i thought it was very similar to Paul's show tbh and as well i thought he was trying to be like Paul with his jokes. Mind you he did say in the tv mag that Paul was the master of his craft

I did watch Antony Cotten and did enjoy it but I must say it is no way better than Paul as he is king of chat but while we are waiting for Paul to come back it passes the time.

It did reflect on Paul when he was on itv but he is only on 5 weeks so he said so Paul does'nt have to worry at all.

I also watched it today and quite enjoyed it. It's something to watch until our Paul is back and it beats R&J. I'm quite sad and have it on series link.

Well it beats watching Richard M. but I carnt say I liked it much.

But do like Anthony Cotton.

Nothing can better Paul - ITV have tried now twice, and failed. Paul comes back in Antony's last week, I think, SO prepare Antony, to get slaughtered!!

I watched abit of it, i was a bit bored, though i did have other things on my mind so i wasn't really watching properly.

No where near as good as Paul he really is the MASTER! Antony so much better in corrie than on his chatshow. I think the show also reflected Paul's alot.
1 Two celebrity guest,
2 he got nick nacks off people like Paul does, 3 he has that DJ guy like Paul has Bert, thats kind of similar.

Funny really how ITV put him mostly against Punch and Judy, i guess you have to give the guy a bit of a chance before Paul comes on.

Not sure how to describe it, but it seems a poorer quality of Pauls show in that there are similiar things going on. Like the "Old lady" Not that I have a problem with "OLd Ladies" but a handsome man may have been a better choice. Like a Butler or something. That would have been novel. I like AC in his corrie character and Im sure he is very nice and will try his hardest to entertain but only time will tell. Give him a chance to shine, thats always my motto with everything.

it reminded of me of Richard Hammond's 5pm show , that was on a couple of years ago.

I saw the first part of Antony's show and I couldn't watch anymore. It wasn't an exact copy of Paul's show but it wasn't my cup of tea, and I don't think I'll be tuning in again.

I think it is awful. Not a patch on Paul's show.

There are a lot of similarities though.

ITV are so jealous they lost Paul to CH4, they are just trying to copy his format.

Thank goodness Paul is back next month to show everyone how it is done!

I watched the first one and felt embarrassed for the guy. Thought it was very poor.

I must say i watched it on Monday and Pauls show is so much better. i too prefer anthony in Corrie.

Nothing against the guy but he is not Paul.

Well it looks like the show is a huge hit with the audience!!

I tried to get tickets, but theyve already sold out for this entire 5week series!


Also, i got a personal response to my email which you dont get with pauls show!


I still prefer pauls show before you all have a go though.

It's a complete and utter copy of Paul's show by itv accept Paul is a much better host, much funnier and has much more to say..

You just keep slating him, like oooh he's not as good as paul etc.

Who says hes trying to be like paul? This is the first time he's ever done anything like this and its going down a storm. Pauls had a few years experience.


And antonys a huge fan of paul, ive read it in the paper and on his itv website.


So i really don't think paul'd be too chuffed to hear you all slating him.



Just because its a similar show to pauls at the same time, it doesnt mean your betraying paul or becoming a lesser fan by enjoying antonys show.



I personally think its great, and its not fair on antony to compare him to paul. just like it wouldnt be fair to compare paul to other chatshow hosts and call him a copy on his debut.
