The wonderful thing about having the guest presenters, good or bad, is Paul gets to have a week off which as we all know is most important thing .
Jim Bowen, Julian Clarey, Graham Norton, Emma Bunton, Alan Alda, Bruce Forsyte are a few great contenders for future guest presenters if Paul has another break.
Overall it's been a good week for most of the presenters doing a great job sitting in for Paul.
My Favourite was Vernon Kay on Monday, followed by Lorraine Kelly.
I am glad Paul is having a break!! My fav has also been Vernon.
''Lifes to short to clean up'-"Paul O'Grady" 'We were poor, but we were shoplifters'-"Lily Savage" "We Want Muffin, Muffin the Mule"-'Paul O'Grady "Hello Bust, you alright Fella"-'Paul O'Grady' 'Shes not only barking up the wrong tree, shes in the wrong forrest'-"Paul O'Grady"
Me 3! Vernon was really good, hes doing family fortunes tonight isnt he? That should be good!
'You need two things in a riot - flat shoes and a pram' - Paul O'Grady ------------------------------------------- Cellulite - "That is a bar stool mark!" - Lily Savage ------------------------------------------ "Wanna bit of cheeeeese?" - Paul O'Grady 27/09/06
Big Dave scares me lol! His neck is the same size of his head But he seems nice enough on the show

I think (reserves judgement for tonight, but Id like to see Lorraine and Vernon do a share of the week. At least we know what they are like, Dont want to watch another show didnt enjoy.
I am so glad that Paul has had a week off...he thoroughly deserves it. Let's hope he's kept to his promise and has relaxed and chilled out this week. I hope Buster is back to his old self now as well.
At least now everyone can see just what a brilliant job Paul does to keeping the show running so smoothly everyday. It seems so effortless when Paul does it...he is such a natural.
How about Dale Winton, Eamon Holmes, Jack Dee, Michael Ball, Lee Evans, Catherine Tate, Victoria Wood, Julie Walters or Dawn French as guest presenters??
I can't wait to see the dynamic duo of Paul & Buster back where they belong on Monday.

HEAR! HEAR!
I heard Jessie make that comment about him and Paul looking alike and us not getting mixed up and i thought 'yeah Jessie....in your dreams mate!'

"Take yer tongue outta my mouth 'cos I'm kissin' ya goodbye!!" "Yer my kinda woman; seriously, yer are!!!" "And now it's time for me to play my organ" "They've only come in for a warm!" "Sittin' on the bog smokin' yer woodies and readin' yer paper!" "Never mind 'aahh' - wait til yer see 'im draggin' a pensioner round the stage by the hem of 'er mac!" "Yer not only barkin' up the wrong tree, yer in the wrong forest" "He's full of 'imself. He's just 'ad a dust up in the corridor with the Blue Peter dog. Seriously. Slaughtered it!"
This week has been great the shows I have seen I have to say that I have enjoyed it but I can't wait till the main attraction of Paul and Buster and Olga are back next week Yay!

Vernon was my favourite too this week, with Lorraine a close second - they should definitely be asked back if Paul takes a break again. They seemed to know how the show worked and both had a very friendly presenting style.
I'm a very big fan of Julian Clary and think he'd do well guest presenting a show - he could bring his dog Valerie on with him
Terry Wogan would also be very good - he's already a chatshow presenter and is so used to reading out emails from listeners on his radio show that the postbag would be a doddle for him!
And Graham Norton - he'd be good too, he's very funny and again is used to presenting chatshows
Well I'd like to see Julian Clary, like alot of people on here. Graham Norton would be good but I don't want to think about it yet. It was awful not having Paul for a week. I'm glad he's had a nice break but I missed him terribly.
i think Terry Wogan would be good too ... but maybe some of the people they wanted were busy !!
Terry does his Now and Then show ( UK Gold) in the studio next door, but it finished in June... maybe if it was still being filmed Terry may have done it, who knows, but it would have been good !

I wouldn't like to see either of them try to stand in for Paul, but i'm so looking forward to Monday!
Me to. I can't wait to see him back. It's been awful without his view on the news or whatever and what his day has been like. I missed all of that. I can't wait for Monday.
Was it just coincidence that paul was advised to take time off after he 'fell' off his chair doing the anita dobson interview. I know he has fallen off the stool on the organ game for laughs but that was very worrying when he done that the other week...?
she will go fagin she won't go fagin as long as he needs me...
