O'Grady taken ill again
Paul O'Grady has been forced to relinquish presenting his Channel 4 chatshow after being taken ill again.

Former EastEnder Shane Richie was booked as a guest on a recording of Friday's show but ended up hosting it instead.

"Paul is fine, but he's had a nasty flu bug and he came back to work too soon," said his spokeswoman. "He's been told to take the rest of the week off and is under strict orders to rest."

Last week Melanie Sykes stepped in for O'Grady when he was rendered unable to work by the flu dose.

He returned to work this week at ITV's studios on London's South Bank but found himself unable to carry on.

The presenter, 52, has suffered two serious heart attacks in the past. Lorraine Kelly was due to present Wednesday's show and Brian Conley will preside over another.
