One thing is for sure, Paul is in the best place at The William Harvey Hospital in Kent.
The last thing for Paul is to do too much jumping about and having surprises which can frighten people, i,e the mummy incident on his show that happened, and especially Most Haunted.
I wish Paul a very speedy recovery and to take it easy. Your health is more important.

Get well very soon and look after yourself.
I must say that i have also been very concerned about all the jumping about etc that he took part in on the show. I was also worried about the smoking too, and hoping that he had stopped.
Please take it easy and rest Paul. You are so important to us all on here! We love you so much! xxxxx
Paul we all wish you a very speedy recovery as we love you so much. You will be in our thoughts untill you have made a full recovery Take it easy and don't return to work to soon. I'm sending you lots of love and hugs.

I was thinking of sending one but i'm not sure it will get there.

If you were worried that the card would not reach him why not send it to c/o channel 4. I am so pleased that he is going to make a full recovery, I am going to include him in my prayers.
TV host and Lily Savage creator Paul O'Grady is expected to make a full recovery after being admitted to hospital with a suspected heart attack.
The 51-year-old comedian is expected to return to his home near Ashford, Kent in a few days, a friend said.
The presenter of The New Paul O'Grady Show was admitted to hospital on Friday morning after suffering chest pains.
A spokeswoman for the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford said he was in a "comfortable" condition.
'All the best'
A Channel Four spokeswoman said: "We are shocked and concerned by the news.
"Along with Paul's many fans we are wishing him all the very best."
She said it was hoped he would have made a full recovery by the time his Channel 4 show was due to return in September.
O'Grady, who has a 200-acre country home 10 miles from Ashford, suffered a heart attack in April 2002 and underwent an operation to widen a blocked artery.
Afterwards, O'Grady said he was reviewing his lifestyle and giving up smoking "for the first time in my adult life".
"Lambert and Butler have had to lay off 200 staff," he joked.
I ope paul get well very soon. i was shocked to hear this news ,i been a fan for many years since he was doing lilly. To be honest i did not think i love him as much as i did with lilly. but he just as funny with and with out the drag gear on. he such a down to earth person and you dont get many like him on TV.
I and my family wish him a full speedy recovery. and send love to him.
For me i felt very sorry for Paul when he said "What are you trying to do kill me" when he was surprised by the mummy on the show.
I hope that sort of thing doesn't happen again.
Even with Most Haunted it's enough to frighten the life out of anyone.
ALL THE BEST PAUL AND TAKE THINGS EASY!!!

Yes i was thinking that too Ian. I think they went a bit far with that Mummy (and i can think of other examples too).
If he is well enough to start back in September for the next series, i really hope that they plan the activites/events much more carefully, so as to consider his health more.
That quote you have used Andria a lot of people will agree.
The mummy incident was well out order. Although Paul may jump around on trampolines and do all the things we love, he is 51 and these surprises and games need to be taken more seriously.
I will never forgot that quote of Pauls on that show. I even have that show on video. I think that was the one with the BBC LICENCE ISSUE which was the main topic which didn't help Paul
OK he was funny kicking off, but it wasn't a good month for Paul at that time anyway.
Let's hope that the games, surprises etc are thought out better for the future.
Yes i agree, i know there trying to have fun and stuff but they need to think about him more he is 51 and they know he has had a heart attack befor and with all the stuff happening with ITV and that they need to think about him more
I am sending a card to the hopsital but I am really annoyed by the attitude of one of the receptionists who went on and on about how they don't give out ward names anymore because of the data protection act and that this has been the case 'ever since computers began' - nonsense, whether that is the law or not I don't know but this was the first time I've ever been refused the name. She said 'just send it and he'll get it, he's well known' - great eh? you'd think I'd asked them for his vital statistics! Their attitude is poor to say the least.
Reports on the Tv say he's 'comfortable' so I just hope they look after him and let him come home soon. Paul is a national treasure and he deserves the best. Couldn't bear it if he wasn't around.
I bet there are a few people viewing this who have had one or more of heart attack.
Seeing the things Paul has to do on his shows sometimes can go too far. I think if Paul does come back in September, things will be different. Also he may cut back on a lot of work. I hope he does if it helps him.
get well soon darling Paul you really must take it easy and be careful in all the activities you do, we love you Paul and Love all you do but we really are concerned for your health, so pleeeeeeese take it easy and try and get plenty rest, and really the haunted shows really take it out of you so please think twice before you do some things
