I'd be happy if he only sat behind the desk but like Seaslug and Jane say, he'll want to take part in some of the activities, and won't be told what to do, either.
I wouldnt expect any less of Phil and Fern cos they are really nice. I think. I know someone who knows of someone, you know how it is and they say Fern is lovely and very caring.
Get well soon Paul, hope you're well enough to return in September. And STOP SMOKING! I've some need to talk, I smoke like a buggered oven! All the best, Russ.
The wonderful thing is so many topics have been posted and seaslug printing up Pauls Buddies to send.
He mostprobably knows there are other topics that have been posted as well.
I really hope he takes it easy and tries his very best to give up smoking.

This is what i have posted on the latest news topics. I wasn't going to post it on here, but it proves how much Paul has been moved by all of his friends, family, and the millions of fans.
FROM THE SUN
TV host Paul O’Grady has vowed to get better for his fans and be back on screen in the autumn.
Hundreds of fans swamped his website after he had a second heart attack on Friday.
Paul, 51, who is awaiting results of tests this week, has indicated he will try to give up his 40-a-day cigarette habit.
A friend said: “Paul has been moved by the response to his illness. It’s buoyed him no end.”
Lily Savage creator Paul was taken to hospital on Friday suffering from chest pains and had emergency surgery to unclog a blocked artery.
The attack has thrown production of Channel 4’s The Paul O’Grady Show into chaos.
But an insider said: “We’re worried for his health and don’t want him rushing back.”
Paul quit smoking after his first heart attack in 2002, but started again after the death of his manager Brendan Murphy last year.
I REALLY hope Paul gets well soon! I haven't had the chance to get on here until now cos I don't come on very often anymore but I was really shocked and worried when my mum told me what had happened on Saturday! I couldn't believe it! I love Paul and think his show is amazing... I look forward to it everyday when it's on! But like everyone else I was more worried for his health... I'm really glad to hear that he seems to be improving and is 'comfortable'. GET WELL SOON PAUL!!!!!!!!
