i'm really sorry i know this isn't Paul related but i am sooo annoyed. I've just got a brand new phone and have literally just dropped it in my drink I know this came up on the forum a little while ago so has this happened to anyone before and if so is there anyway to get it working again ?? Thanx
Oh Libby This happened to one of my kids and sorry to say it couldn't be repaired they had to have a new one. I don't know if this will apply to your make of phone so lets hope someone comes up with some ideas for you

when I dropped my phone into the sink I took the back cover off, plus the sim card, and battery and dried it out wrapped in a tea towel, on the radiator. make sure the radiator isn't too hot, what with the battery. It worked for a month, then died on me. could try that. Hope you soon get it to work. Ps, what was the drink, hot or cold?

thanx for the tips guys, it was a cold drink but it was orange juice which is acidic so i'm wondering if it's gonna probably corrode the inside, typical

If your mobile gets wet, theres very little chance you will get it working again as the moisture blows all the circuits, T Mobile sent me a picture of the damage to my phone and you can see clearly that all the curcuits have blown. they call Liquid Contamination now.

just thinking back to about a year ago,when my friends teenage daughter dropped her brand new phone..it wasnt in drink though..wait for it folks,,yes you guessed it...in the toilet.. hope to goodness they never mentioned that to whoever was trying to fix it..what a horrible thought..
