I would never be in the audience as you can't mute it out. It's bad enough through the tele at home and I am grabbing the remote most of the time when the whistlers are allowed in. Paul sometimes calls them "lively". I call them a b----y nuisance.

Sorry, but having been to the show more times than I can count, we are told by Andy (the warm up man) shout, scream, make as much noise as you can. So I guess you will have to live with it. That's the whole point of being part of a studio audience.

i guess whistling can be irritating , my dad always hated it! once, he even came into the front room and told my brother off for doing it..but it was actually on the tv! tv probably went off after that.... but i agree, that with everybody else there making a noise, it really shouldn't be a problem...i didn't hear any whistlers when i went...all the fun of the fair...as they say..!
