I know you might think this is a lame topic, but I'd just like to know your reasons for loving Paul, how you got into him and stuff like that.

because he's fit like..

There are just too many reasons to mention!

Its a very good subject. We had this one before when the forum started and it got lots of replies.

I Like Paul because of his love for animals and for what he does as the only person on a TV show that promotes rescue dogs. I love his sharp wit, charm, his sense of humour,that he doesnt suffer fools gladly, hes motivated but he can be compassionate and relate to the ordinary person in the street. I can relate to a lot of what he talks about as similiar age. I just like him foolstop.He makes me laugh with his mannerisms and he just great!

Sorry forgot to say getting carried away with why i like him. I always liked him as savage, thought that was good especially Blankety blank. But I loved it when he became him in the travel programmes that he did. When he was interviewed on I think it was This MOrning saying that he was going to do his own series I thought it was a good idea and I watched every show since day one, never missed one. Been in the audience 4 times and been on the show with my dog. PHEW. Sorry Life story here.

I love him for all the reasons mentioned in other posts.

I get tired of the smarm and superficiality of most TV people. It's a refreshing change because you feel you are seeing the real the person and not an image he has decided to project.

I've read of so many people who bump into their favourite celeb when they are 'off duty' only to be disappointed or snubbed. You just know Paul wouldn't do that.

I orginally started watching his show because he reminds me so much of my childhood sweetheart (well an older version, obviously!!! thought I'd make that clear just in case the gestapo/social services get the wrong impression ) but he pretty soon grew on me in his own right.

Seaslug - when were you on there with your dog and what was the 'angle'?

It was a year last May at the very end of the series and they had Mutt of the Year contest. I was the 2nd one on with a black and white dog who did some tricks and spoke to Paul and Scott the Vet. The others had a little square brown dog, a long dog mated dachshund with a rottie, and the last dog which won it that was very professional and did all these clever tricks jumping through hoops etc. She won it. No surprise. Mines only a pet dog but I was chuffed to be on there I can tell you. See my posting if you have time its in two parts.

I love Paul as what you see is what you get. He dont put on a front whilst he's on screen. I love the fact that he makes mistakes and talks to bert through the shows as it just comes across more natural! I love the fact that he loves animals and does all he can to promote the fact that there are loads in rescues needing homes. He has great humour and never fails to make me laugh! A lot of other people who are in his position doing shows etc, might thinks things but never dare say them like her does! He's just a truly great bloke in my eyes, and ill never stop loving him!

I love Paul because he is so unique, funny brilliant makes me laugh, he loves animals, and will do anything to help anyone else, he is truly a lovely guy he does'nt think he is above you he comes down to your level.
he is so natural, always wants to gie a helping hand
and he is so genuine, attractive, loves kids and doing things with them, he has time for them and that is a plus for me, and always remembers birthdays of everyone, there is just no one like him

I am on here at least twice a day Seaslug, but I don't always post or reply. I hope you don't think i'm being rude.

I dont think you are rude at all. As I have posted on the other thread beginning to feel though here on my own and feeling that may be a bit sad. Im not as heaps I should be doing but just love logging on and chatting.

Seaslug i'm sorry you are feeling like that. Apart from no POG i am feeling better. Although we had stopped being so serious and have tried to liven things up on here, i feel i have to be more selective about what i reply to and what i say in reply. Don't get me wrong though, i know very well that i'm entitled to my own opinion.

i love paul for so many reasons, most of them already mentioned on this thread.
he is so down to earth,will try any challenge, very talented,and no airs or graces.i would love to meet him one day.xx

I hope my postings are offensive as like you I tried on some occasions to diffuse situations as I dont come on here for aggravation but enjoyment. Cant understand it myself. It did get really silly at one point and perhaps we have lost some people because of that.

It's fine to call me ak. To be honest Seaslug i'm not referring to you about the situation we got into over the forum. Yes it did get very silly at one point, and you weren't even on here! It's good to hear that you are eager to chat and very pleasant to hear what you have to say. You don't say anything offensive. I hope i don't either!
