Be nice to see a few changes. The titles will probably feature a few different clips. I'm looking forward to hearing his opinions on current affairs again.

I'm really looking forward to tonight. It'll be interesting to see if there are any changes - I guess the 'new' might be dropped from the titles now that it's not new anymore lol. I wonder if there's still going to be a competition on the show after all the trouble there's been about phone-ins in the past few months? It would be nice if it's dropped as the competition reminders take up so much time during the show when we could have more Paul instead.

Yes I think the competition reminders take up a lot of time, and there's 3 of them I think.
I know this is kind of off topic but I had the weirdest dream about the show last night. I dreamt it came back and it started with Paul and some other people singing. Paul was wearing some big black thing. Then all I remember is adverts and more adverts. The show was on for all of 5 minutes. The rest was adverts and I said, 'This is rubbish'. I know that must make me sound really mad. Lol

I don't know if this was already on here but on the Faetures page there was this. Paraiso Dancers Find out more abou the Paraiso School of Samba and the history of Samba. Maybe that's what they'll be doing on the show today.

Lol the singing bit would be good but not the rest of it - I always think the adverts go on too long as it is!

Well spotted! I hope this is what will be on the show tonight - I love watching Samba dancing.

I don't think the "New" will have been dropped, I remember seeing the sign, and I think the "New" is at an angle, unless I dreamt it (lol). Hope u r well.

So I assume Babs Windsor is on then? She's an old friend of Pauls. The only thing I didn't like on the last series was that he had several guests on that had been on before. I'd much rather see new guests. Paul's at his very best when interviewing someone he hasn't met before.

i agree with you! i really like guests like babs windsor and jools holland, but i would like to see some more new ones on...how about Mica or The Fratellis or The Scissorsisters or Dame Edna and Madge or some of the old faces who featured in the Peter Kay Comic Relief Video!! Rod Jane And Freddy, Gary Wilmot, Kenny Lynch, the Krankies, Terry Nutkin..that would be really nice..because it really does seem like people, with the exception of Babs maybe...only go on their to promote something...which is all well and good...but.... anyway, i got to see the show tonight which was a bonus and it is ALWAYS a pleasure to see Paul and Buster! and the pic of Abel was lovely...i am sorry to have missed him when he came on before..i loved the Brazilian dancers..weren't they fab!! number 5 of the Paul o Grady Fan club!!! #5 of the mindless crew on the Games forum! there are no strangers here, just friends that you haven't yet met*.*.♥.·:*¨¨*:·.♥•.♥.•°♪°•.♥.·:*¨¨*:·.♥.•°♪°•.♥.·:*¨¨*:·.♥•°♪ °•.♥.·:*¨¨*:·.♥•° ♪°•.♥.•°•.♥.♥.·:¨·.♥

Brilliant first show. I liked the new desk, it looked like the one they had on the 1st series on ITV. The postbag was great and the picture of Abel was adorable, and it was sweet to mention Olga's 2nd birthday. Barbara's interview was good. It always is when she comes on, it's like watching them have a chat at home. The little remarks from Paul about the competition was funny, the writing was huge on the reminders. Lol Jools' interview was good as well. I like the type of music he plays. The Organ Game was good, a bit different. And I loved the dancing at the end even though they didn't have much time for it. It was funny when Barbara and Jools pulled the NB names out and couldn't read them out as the music started playing again. Then Paul tried to say the names with confetti in his mouth. Lol Brilliant show and I'm so pleased it's back on.

Good to see Barbara on the show and Jools. As Paul said he felt comfortable with those two to start the series and not have someone difficult. Although may be he should have. Barbara is very bubbly, typical chirpy east ender. Wouldnt mind being invited to her Birthday Bash, as I too am a Londoner and appreciated what she was saying about holding her party overlooking London. Lucky Lady.
Jools is always good, would have liked him to play though.
Few new faces, thought the little scottish girl was funny and such a strong accent. Wonder where they get these new people for the show from though, the two in the video doing the competition.
Not a bad start to the new series, noticed Osi doing the wind up thingy.
DOnt like the new sofa material, bit garish.
Overall nice to see Paul back.

I loved the show tonight - really nice to see Paul back again. Abel is so cute - I hope Paul brings him on the show again sometime. Barbara was great as always - Paul's right, she doesn't look 70 at all. I really like Barbara, she's always so bubbly, enthusiastic and friendly. Jools I also liked, though like seaslug says, it would've been good if he'd played. I noticed the massive writing on the competition reminders too, they're being very clear now lol - and good to see a free option for entering the organ game, which makes it much fairer. It was good to hear Paul talking about his book - looks like it's going to be out for Christmas which is good news. The dancing was fantastic - a brilliant end to the first show of the series.
