i think, but dont quote me i might b wrong,that fern and phil schofield have been on together a long time ago.probably on itv..
after paul lost brendan fern and phil did a lovely interview with him on this morning,where he was saying he had relied on his friends to get him through the grief..he then went on to have fern and phil in stiches pretending to be the tea and biscuit waiter..it was so funny..

so then i think he invited them back on his show to return the compliment..
