Seeing as some people are being put off coming on here, due to non Paul related issues. I thought I would start a topic for people who wants to chat about everyday things, problems in life, being a carer etc, or can't get out yourself. Please feel free for a chat, as I am sure Paul wouldn't mind.

I hope i've not put anyone off from coming on here, its just that when I needed someone to talk to, you guys were the only ones I could think of, yes, i realise it was probably off-putting but I didnt know who else to turn to. Paul would be so proud of his fans being so supportive of each other through good times and bad, sharing each others problems, their triumphs, thier trips to the show, meeting Paul etc etc, so please, any one who feels that they can no longer come on here, please do not feel that way, come back and rejoin the fun. If i have ever offend or upset any of you then I apologise. Look forward to your return. til then take care XXXX not long to wait now for our beloved Paul to come back, He'll cheer us all up.XXXX

Well, I just thought I'd do a non Paul related topic, we all need someone to tell our troubles to, and like most people have said it's us on the forum. Michelle STOP apologising, you have nothing to apologise for. It's just nice to know there are lovely people on here who we can share problems with.

Hi everyone, Hope you are all well. I have been looking to move, but don't want to rush into things. However, my good friend has offered me his canal boat, which it 70 foot in length, and he has just paid £30-000, getting it modernised. He said I could have that, and rent it cheaper than my house. Trouble is it won't work out much cheaper as I will have to put alot of my furniture in storage. Should I go for it, or not!. Opinions would be greatfully appreciated. Although I am very tempted by the idea.

Why don't you stay on the boat for say, like a week, see how you feel, that way you will have a better idea of what it's like (sort of like a taster type thing) and then you can decide wheather its the right thing for you to do, Good Luck in whatever you decide and remember, you have my full support XXXXX

Im becomin a peer mentor to underpriviliged first years in september,
So any ideas of activities i could do with them to improve literacy + numeracy skills or to boost their confidence would be very welcome.
Why don't you ask your school if you could run some after school classes, then you could have "getting to know you" sessions (Friendship classes)and encourage the new people to make friends with each other, then when they've settled in, you could probably have Numeracy/literacy classes. good luck in whatever you decide, and like I said to iloveolga, you have my full support XXXXx
