Did Paul manage to give up his smoking. Havent heard him mention it for a while now. wel done Paul if you have. I gave up 10 years ago and it was hard to do but glad I did now.
Paul said he gave up for a little while, but when he began learning to drive he started again. Must of been the stress of it all.

He said at one time that he had tried everything and I can well sympathise with him. That was one of the letters I wrote, probably never ever got to read it. It was a sort of support letter saying how I had managed it and was designed to encourage him. But the one thing I would say, the worst thing you can do is to go on at a smoker, it made me do it even more. I tried the patches and was climbing up the walls for a few days but I was determined as I had a reason. Thats why I wrote to Paul but I never got a reply. I written so many times about suggestions for the show and about dog related things but I have stopped now as he must have thousands of letters a day and maybe I should concentrate on helping someone closer to home.
