in fact just done a google search for pog and gt a few from tv stations uncluding utv and channel 4. Seems he may not be returning to the show quite so soon.

TV host Paul O’Grady has vowed to get better for his fans and be back on screen in the autumn.

Hundreds of fans swamped his website after he had a second heart attack on Friday.

Paul, 51, who is awaiting results of tests this week, has indicated he will try to give up his 40-a-day cigarette habit.

A friend said: “Paul has been moved by the response to his illness. It’s buoyed him no end.”

Lily Savage creator Paul was taken to hospital on Friday suffering from chest pains and had emergency surgery to unclog a blocked artery.

The attack has thrown production of Channel 4’s The Paul O’Grady Show into chaos.

But an insider said: “We’re worried for his health and don’t want him rushing back.”

Paul quit smoking after his first heart attack in 2002, but started again after the death of his manager Brendan Murphy last year.

Thnks Ian for posting this so that no one misses it. Thats brilliant. I keep coming on to get updates. You would have thought his fellow presenters on tv would have at least mentioned him. They are more concerned about the flipping football and tennis.

I thought that aswell seaslug, i havent heard any other presenters wish him better, just go on about the football and tennis! Its a shame because if it was the other way round, paul would be the firts person to wish them better. Anyway who needs them when he's got us!?
