We do get the "Paul O Grady Show" here in France, due to Satelite - which is great to have English TV, and still watch something you can relate to.
Just have to remember the hour difference, but if I can't catch it at 6.00pm for us, I have the 7.00pm showing on 135! Or there is the DVD recorder of course - if working later.
Paul certainly makes us laugh -
As you say, I will probably get addicted to posting on the site and will try and take part a bit more.
I do enjoy reading the Forum and you are a friendly bunch -
Oh by the way - well done to iloveolga for getting a letter from Paul for knitting hats - I am afraid my knitting skills are somewhat to be desired - cross stitch may be - knitting oh la la.
Welcome To The Forum,And Yea It Must Be Great View Were Yee Are

We certainly are - when we have had French people in, to do work and Paul has been on, even though they can't understand what he is talking about, they do laugh, at the things he does - I guess they can relate to it -
I say it is pay back time - as we sometimes do struggle with their gabble - but it is getting better, either that or we are bringing to French to our level!!
Its great to hear that u get Paul's show in France! Did u live in England previously n thne move to France or have u always lived there, as ur English is very gd!

I did live in England - and thought about a change of life, left England in Aug 2005, living in Limousin, in the Haute Vienne region about 30 miles from the city of Limoges, which is central France, where I live is 420 miles from Calais.
The drive back to Calais usually takes about 7 hours of driving!
Having said that, we are looking to move in France, to another place.
Limousin is like the Yorkshire Dales, Cumbria, plenty of activities.
I guess I get back to Blighty about twice a year - stock up on Tea - and other English things -
I guess that explains the Anglais being so good - well sort off - it is a pity my French isn't so good, still I get by.
Wow, it must be so nice to live in France. I bet it is a lovely culture It is so great that you still get to watch Paul over there I hope that you enjoy posting on the forum, because I would love to be able to talk to you more xx

I sometimes dream about Buster. I've never dreamt of Paul though I just soemtimes dream that Buster is biting the bottom of my trousers! I had a weird dream last night that I lost my car keys...
Oh do u! lol! Haha thats a strange dream. I often have dreams bout Paul or dreams with him in, although thats nt suprisin reli as i come on the forum and we talk bout Paul, i talk bout Paul to my friends and family all the time, n then always watch him at 5 on 4, so its no suprise! lol Do u drive? Cause that would be stranger if u dreamt thatmu lost car keys u dnt own lol, but most dreams are bizarre anyway.

it's not bad living here and you do have to learn all over again - like a baby really, as you don't know where things are as for the language as you say - the rude phrases are the ones you pick up very quickly - but that is no surprise.
The way of life is slower - having said that, get the French in a car - and it is a different story -

I can't image what the French are like in cars! Rude phrases are always the easiest to remember aren't they?
