I was actually quite confused as to what he was saying about people being afraid of it though. What did he say people where scared of it for? I never heard that part because I had just got back from making a drink of tea at the time so I missed it.

I was actually quite confused as to what he was saying about people being afraid of it though. What did he say people where scared of it for? I never heard that part because I had just got back from making a drink of tea at the time so I missed it.

i just rewound the tape to find out what he said..
apparently there was a lot of superstition about it because a child died at one of thr concerts..then some woman had miscarrages.
and people became afraid of it..also some of the people who played it went mad so he said..
so i think it got a bit of a bad reputation..

Oh, that is very strange isn't it? I found it so interesting to see such an instrument. That's one of the reasons which I like Paul O'Grady. Everything which is on his show is very unique.

no probs kim..it was really unusual wasnt it..
yes he does bring on people and things that are a bit different..like the sport stacking for instance..
i think jakes dad said he will be on blue peter soon..must look out for that.
probably on the same time as paul,but i'll tape it...
