Mrs Paul O'Grady is Paul's world famous (well, five people know her) champion from the Digital Spy forums. Ask her about Bert, or which shows are broadcast live, and she'll get jolly cross.

As for the C4 show: I guess same old same old is the natural way to start - it gets in the old audience - but I hope the production will improve as time goes by. It's been a strangely flat start (not helped by the quality of guests - O'Grady is at his worst when his mates are on), and my heart sank to see the return of those wastes of space the two Essex boys (that ghastly dinner lady/TV critic/comedienne inside her own head will doubtless be the next greatest mistake to make a comeback. O'Grady will be fine when the show is simpler and sharper, with more audience interaction and fewer novelty 'personalities'.
