why is it prerecorded on 2 days, but live on the other days

It's probably, because Paul has to travel home after the show on Wednesday, to have a long weekend on his farm. That's my guess anyway, unless they have to use the studio for some other programme.

It's probably also because the crew work on other shows too so they have to make time for that as well
