Yeah I'm sure he'll be fine too so long as he gets plenty of rest and doesn't come back to work until he's fully recovered. Yes, I had a really bad case of flu last year and I could barely move, I was freezing cold then boiling hot. I didn't eat anything for about 2 weeks. So the last thing I would want to do is go on television.

Hopefully he'll get the right amount of time off this time and recover properly.

Paul didn't seem all that well yesterday and it's a shame as these virus and flu's do tend to hang on. You think they have gone but haven't.

Once Paul has had a good rest in bed he'll be back fully recovered and ready to continue the series.

yea hopefully after a few more days of rest he'll be fighting fit again..
flu is much different to a cold isnt it,gets right into your bones and makes you feel drained.
he's tried to come back too fast,he needs some proper rest,and dont we all wish we cud be the ones to provide the loving care and attention to help him recuperate properly..be there in a shot for sure...

Yea unfortunalty they do tend to hang around n wen u gt the flu u dnt feel like eatin or anythin n u need food n plenty of fluid too give u ur strength bk so if u do to much to soon then it just drains u again.

He must have been feeling so ill on yesterday's show bless him, i can't imagine what going on TV must be like when you've got the flu, that's the last thing i would want to do so well done to him for doing it

Hi, Agree that Paul did not seem too great yesterday. He was a bit ratty.

Quite true it takes some time to get over the flu & would not expect him back for at least another fortnight, but Paul is so loyal who knows.

It must be strange for the dogs wen they dnt go to the studio as for 3months on 3 months off they must get into a routine.

hey i just got back from the show
gutted paul wasnt on, but going next week with my mum so not fussed ill see him then!
poor mel! had to stand in at the last minute, she only arrived 45 mins before it started, lorraine kelly done the 12.30 recording!
mel done a good job considering the circumstances, we got told 1 min paul was doing it, then he wasnt so nobody was sure so was a bit disorganised! hope paul gets better soon!!

Aww yea i bet u were i was like that wen i went last week bt at the same time happy that he'd taken time off to get better. Oh did she, we wondered if Paul had done the 12.30 show or nt so thnx for clearin that up! Hope u get to see Paul wen u go next week. Mel is great tho, standin in 45mins before the show went out, i mean i no she does tv presentin as a livin bt u normally have time to prefer for it but she just had to get straight into n she didnt come across nervous or unsure to me.
