thaks, iloveolga...but i don't think i was unlucky with my animals...i still had 33 years with them...not bad, i think... both of my dogs died of old age..we believe that molly walked in front of the car on purpose..who knows.. the unluckiest was the last cat sammy2..because he ran out onto the main road... ...when i get out of this flat and get a house with a garden..i shall be getting a dog and a cat... my kids deserve to grow up with the love of pets in the same way that i did...i will never forget them all.. and you really can't get that with fish! number 5 of the Paul o Grady Fan club!!! #5 of the mindless crew on the Games forum! there are no strangers here, just friends that you haven't yet met*.*.♥.·:*¨¨*:·.♥•.♥.•°♪°•.♥.·:*¨¨*:·.♥.•°♪°•.♥.·:*¨¨*:·.♥•°♪ °•.♥.·:*¨¨*:·.♥•° ♪°•.♥.•°•.♥.♥.·:¨·.♥

He is a lovely bird except for when he is sitting on top of my head I cant stand birds on my head so I feel abit weird when he is on my head. He loves his oranges when you peel da oranges he tries to eat as you peel it which is mental which is weird for a bird and very strange as well.

i dont know whether you will find this useful, But when we were chosing a Chow Chow we got a book out of the library of all the different dogs, then maybe when you have chosen a breed you like it might be worth putting that breed onto a search on the internet, see if there are any breeders/rescue centres that could help you. Worth a try, if not, take no notice of me. XxXxX hope it helps.

Hi Littley, better still, why don't we all club together and get a farm, and have as many animals as we all want, and call it either "The Funny Farm" or "The Paul O'Grady Farm".

I think it's nice that some people want a rescue dog. When I was still living with my parents, I had a rescue dog, who was 13, and the RSPCA, told me if i hadn't of chosen him "Sam", the next day they were going to have to put him asleep.I had him for 2 years, before he died, of kidney failure. Thought he was deaf, as he never did as he was told, until my dad's mate who is an indian, spoke to him in his own language, and the dog responded to everything he was told. I just like the thought that I gave him 2 more years, that the RSPCA, wouldn't have given him.

What about NCDL, although they say they never put a healthy dog down. My mate used to work there, and if a dog ws in kennels for more than 12 weeks, it would get put down, regardless of age. Near where I live is a animal sanctuary, called The Rugby Animal Trust, and it is owned by an 80 year old lady, crippled with arthritis. Dogs, cats, birds, horses, sheep, etc, the list goes on.

LOOK AT THE DOGS ON PAUL'S SHOW. I hate looking around kennels as it upsets me, and if i could i would take them all home.
