Hello there,

Can anyone please tell me the difference between Priority and 'non-priority' tickets.

If you have a 'non-priority' ticket how much chance to do you have of getting a seat for a recording and how soon should you arrive to stand a chance of getting in?

hi busterbell welcome to the forum.

well have never been to the show yet but from other people asking

non priority you can still get in but you have to be there really early to get in and a good seat.

thats what many have been told


and for priority you received them if you live outside london,or more thann an hour away
and you can jump the chue with them but yet still cue early to get a good seat say 2hours for priority & non prority 3-4 hrs

these is what i gather from other people i am sure you might get a few more answers l8r on

from people who when there but thats more less it hope it helps

priority tickets go in first, due to the length of travel, not guaranteed to get in if non-priority,as you have to live more than 2 hours i think from the studios.

I live more than 4 hours away and i get priority tickets.

Ems and her other half took myself and mum to the Halloween show, we could'nt stop messing about, we had such a great time. , Paul was on about his week off and I shouted "can I come with you, Paul", God knows where that came from cos usually i am quite shy.

Thats of course if you can get tickets in the first place. Just tried and been told the date I chose was full and yet its on the website. Give them their due they have offered alternatives dates later on but dont think I will bother. Have been to the show 4 times and on it once so maybe time not to go again. Have to say I liked the show when it first started, its become too pristine in parts now.

Now Im not sure which part of my thread you are referring to, LOL. However if you meant the tickets. I was rather miffed that the dates for the shows came up and when I applied it was implied that you had to be chosen and I wasnt. I havent been to the shows since they moved to BBC studios and now they were back at London Studios thought I would like to go back but it wasnt to be. As I said Lost in Tv did offer alternatives, ironically the following week at BBC. So doesnt look like I will go afterall. PHEW.

As to the show. I think or rather hope that anyone that watched the first two series will know what I am trying to say. Im not sure quite how to put it but here goes. I think its become Too polished. When Paul first started out, he arrived in country jacket and trousers, he seemed to relate and refer to the ordinary sort of person in the street and I loved that about him but now its more the designer suits and wheres hes been getting a suntan. The show use to seem to be a bit raw around the edges and relate to ordinary people and it seems to have been lost. I know hes had to calm down having been so ill, but I miss those fiery rants that he use to do and things that gets your goat which normally older people winge about. I cant, to be honest remember the last time he made me laugh continually throughout the show So I hope thats answered your question Pauls A Pet. And I am still a Big Fan but believe in saying what I think

YEA FROM WHAT I THRING I AGREE SEA SLUG NOW I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THE SHOW HOPEFULLY NEXT SERIES

BUT THE VTS ANNOY ME AND SOMETIMES EVERYTHING IS THE SAME IT PREDICTABLE BUT I STILL LOVE THE SHOW

In response to those who wanted to know how long to cue for when you have a non priority ticket is to be there at least an hour to hour and half before the doors open. Any later than that and you risk being amongst those who are left out of getting in that day. Those that are unlucky apparently get priority tickets for another show. This is what has happened the two times I have been lucky enough to get there and get in for that particular recording.

The reason I got a Priorty ticket was because I had a bad hip and they were kind sending me one but you could always ask, Priorty go in at 12 then the rest after that. I know of people who queue a long time even with Priority ones but I
think it worth going for the fact you are in the studios even as I went to a recorded one not live. I love see Paul anyway.
