You can play but without real pennies so to speak but still get the oppertunity to get involved in live championships? I know these events start with about 20 thousand players, but it would be fun to give it a shot!
Poker looks like a dreadfully boring game… I saw the new Bond film the other day and for about half an hour they just sat around playing an endless game of cards; it was like: “ohh look that guy just got an Ace and a Jack how exciting… now can I see a car chase and a fight?"
Every poker site has "play money" tables so you can play for free, but its not like the real thing. What you want is "Freerolls" which are free to enter, but you do win real money. I do a lot of this so let me know if you want to select a site.
There are sites where you can even get real money for play money without risking anything. Usually in Sit and Go's so you do not have to play hours in tournament with 20,000 people.
