i am an avid carter fan...how could you not be?! And now that carter is gone i am looking for a substitute to fill the gap, not that anyone could fill his gap or marks for that matter. Sniff. Im rooting for abby and luka this season as they both deserve something good to happen and about time too. Especially since (i hate to say this becasue i carter is the best character in er next to mark) cater ran away to the jungle with that dog i mean kem and left abby who he is obviously supposed to be with. So Abby and Luka it is for me.

If you seriously want to know how one could not be an avid Carter fan I could probably write a book, but I have a feeling that the question was entirely rhetorical.

We're not all really old, I'm only 25, they are many younger and older...

I'm not saying you CAN'T use slang, but everyone of your posts is full of mistakes and slang which just make it very hard to read.

i could but everyone makes gernrol mistakes like the genrol word i dont no how to spell that. some words i dont no what they look like.

i have no problem with peolpe not knowing hwo to spell words (i don't alwas spell everthing correctly, no one does..) i think what was meant was that it is nicer if people don't use text language... it's just nicer to communicate that way...


to the origianl question, my favourite characters on the show NOW are luka and abby...

Mog, please don't take offence at what people have sadi- we are all just quite particular on this forum and have a bit of trouble with text language! It's so difficult to read! It would be great if you could use a bit less of it..

As for favourite characters- now that Suse has gone *sniff*...and aside from the obvious Abby who I adore..I'm thinking mine might be Kerry! Although we are getting less and less of her now

Well, Neela just to really bug me but recently her one-liners have been great. But I think my favourite is...Jerry. Definatley need more Jerry and Malik 'bits' like there used to be!

If we're talking main people my fave would probably have to be Kovac (when he's not being soppy and deep).

Fave overall is Jerry. (god that took a while didn't it?!)

Ray of course (Go Shane West!)

And then Probably Abby!

Neela is fantastic. And bad spelling really does my nut in.

Anyway, topic topic...Carter was never a favourite of mine, so his absence doesn't bother me. Luka's definately my favourite.

May I say that Kem REALLY was a dog! Never liked her arrogant manner.Carter was way too good for her. We are all entitled to OUR opinions and in MY opinion she spoiled the show. Pity Carter was stupied enough to go after her. He was by far MY favourite character and the show is badly missing him as well as the past "greats" such as Greene & Benton.
Saw the first episode of this "new" series and was totaly put off by "I just love myself" Sam and her spolit brat of a child. Have stopped watching now until I know for sure she is gone. Is she going? (I ask hopefully)
I liked Neela, Luca and Abby when I did watch it.
PS Bad spelling is just laziness.

I would NOT go as far as to say Kem was a dog. She was a character that few veiwers warmed too, tbh, I don't really remember a great deal about her as I wasnt all that interested.

Secondly, I liked Carter occasionally but in the last few seasons he was in he seemed very flippant and rather uncaring about the whole being a doctor and looking after the patients thing, he was totally different to what Greene or others were earlier. And a lot of the time he was very self-centered which gets annoying. But I did like him sometimes.

ATM, I think my favourite is probably Neela, I like Pratt these days too.

Personally I'm not a fan of Luka, Sam or Abby. But that's just me.

I never really warmed to Kem, but then Carter dated more irritating women in the past. I am a huge Carter fan and I miss him.

I find it hard to pick a favourite. I have "less favourite"s but not a definite favourite. I like Luka some eps and find him irritating in others. I guess Neela and Abby, although sometimes they are irritating too.

I blame TPTB (aka scriptwriters) for making characters like that. Sam has been getting on my nerves, but she is getting less annoying as the series goes on!

No, you'd be surpised how much material I could get out of his 11 year tenure on the show (and, just to get things straight, I didn't say anything at all about "should"; I said, in response to the question "how could you not?" that I could tell you how I could not be an avid fan).

Chapter 2...In Episode ? he had the cheek to say blah, blah, blah...
etc etc etc.....make for a pretty boring "book" that would.
