It's pretty good actually, I like it. But I should be reading it for the second time at least so I can take my English Lit AS in January, but I haven't even finished it for the first time yet *panic attack*

Raw Cuts

Even if you don't want to enter anything in for it, it might be nice to have a go at writing something and putting it up here. Or, if you're thinking of submitting something and want to field the responses first, post it up for comment. Since there are so many damn good writers here, you've probably all got a great chance of getting somewhere with this so I'd say GO FOR IT! Unless, of course, you're not included in that age boundary (13-18) in which case...bummer.

Sounded a little cliche, yknow? Like the kind of thing they give you in year 8 as an angsty outlet - which is all well and good - but I guess I'm in an easily-annoyed mood right now. Well, not anymore, but you get the idea...

I really like that Claire. It's so poignant. My favourite aspect is the ending paragraph because I think it ends it so well. It's beautiful. Ignore your class.

Clunky? That's not right - I loved it. It's a real task to get a whole story in such few words and you manage it with apparent effortlessness. I dislike your class.

I think it's really good, I don't really feel any cluckiness at all, it's just short and sweet but doesn't feel like it rushes to the point. I like it.
