I would say it was rape ERisdabest. She couldn't scream for help, he had just killed 2 other people. Her actually sayin 'no' would pretty much have been pointless and might have cost her her life for all that she knew. It was rape.

Of course it was rape. He'd just told her he'd rather they were all dead than for them to be separated and she'd witnessed him killing his accomplices; and of course he was armed.

Think the fact that Alex was sleeping close by with the car door open had a lot to do with the fact that she made no attempt to stop him.

Sam did what she to do for survival. She probably knew that afterwards her ex would fall asleep and it would give her the chance to escape with Alex.

am i the only person on this forum who thought that the steve sam thing was the most exiting part??

not saying that the other parts were not, but for me it made the episode

I loved this episode, thou thought with the way season 12 ended it could have been a bit more action packed.

I like sam and that part of the story. This alex annoys me thou, bring back the original one

The old Alex was even more annoying though. He'd never stop talking. And nothing was ever good enough.

This Alex is just wet.

That's what annoys me about this Alex. He doesn't really talk! The other Alex was so talkative and that's what i liked. This one is just.........dull.

least the other did atempt to smile once in a while and said something. He was cute. Just cant get used to this new one at all

She didn't consent to it either. She knew that if she fought him off she would be putting either her own or Alex's life at risk. Knowing that if Steve killed her, Alex would have nobody, IMO she allowed it to happen against her will to save and protect her son.

It takes a strong woman to allow that to happen even if it is to protect their or their families life. I don't know if I would be able to control all the anger I would be feeling at a time like that.

I hate the new tune.. its almost as annoying as the new casualty theme lol i like hospital dramas lol..

I hope that they dont try to get Sam for all three of the murders.. and if they do it should be for self defense as they kidanapped her!!

I loved the way they used the snow patrol song to show what happened at the end of last series, it started the adrenalin going, but then the new theme tune played and i was so upset. it ruined the whole episode because i was just so disappointed!

before it started i actually thought to myself ' i wonder what clips they will use for the opening'! i cant believe the old ones not coming back!

the episode was great, though i agree was as action packed as i hoped but the abby and luka bits made up for that, and i loved the mongo joke..bit of comedy to break up a serious episode! i shocked by the rape bit i thought it was quite extreme for ER even though you didnt see anything lol!

anyway i loved it all (except theme tune arghhh)so glad its back!

Oh my god. How great was last nights show!!!!!!
I thorght it was brilliant. It was a rollercoster of emotions. i agree that the theme tune abit dodgy but i can live with that.
Abbey and Luka i felt so sorry for them, and cried my eyes out when luka showed abbey, joe on his phone.....
The Sam and Steve storyline was abit depressing tho. I cant believe that she let him rape her. I understand the situation, but couldn't just lie there.
The new Alex is cute tho, i hope that he will continue to like luka as they seemed to be getting closer, and that Sam and Alex can now put everything behind them.
Cant wait for next week or i may even have to cheat and go to channel 4 on demand and see if they've got next weeks episode.
