I've been telling you for ages that cats arent evil (well ok they are, but in a loving and very cute way).

Ah I like cats - my friends two cats are adorable, but the people I babysit for - they're cat freaks me out because it doesn't stop talking to me and I worry it'll die while I'm there because it's so old...

In other news: I passed out for the first time this morning. Freaked me the hell out cos I woke up all dizzy and then lost my sight for a while, ran into a wall ( smart, I know) and then turned around, went back in the other direction and was found by my mother a while later. I keep finding bruises and injuries from things I crashed into or fell on - it's wild!

yes jemma, i asked becky when she got back for her medlink report, but we still havent seen it at all! i would imagine your vetsix involved a similar amount of stalking as occurs with medlink and medsix?

mm sort of, there were hardly any guys! but i managed to find a couple who became really gd mates! the week was very exhausting though, with the thursday night lecture finishing at 1.30am!

heey, sorry i never got a chance to talk about medlink, ive been really busy, FOUR exams after christmas!!!

i had a really great time. alot of people said they didnt find it that useful, i think one of the main reasons i did was because i talked alot to these two lads who are in year 13, they kept saying how they wished they had gone on the course the year before, and how much easier it would have made things for them. quite alot of the lectures were telling us how to make things better for ourselves, like ASDAN forms, and interviews and stuff. a lot of lectures were made by doctors, talking about their jobs in their departments, it was all really interesting. one guy there, i think he was a med student, or has only just qualified, told us quite a few funny stories from when he was doing his rotation in the A and E... most of these stories involved men coming in needing things to be removed from their asses.... some that i remember are a butternut squash and an 8 ince statue of nelsons column.... :S

everyone who i met there was really lovely, with one exeption. this one guy came over to us one night when we were sitting around telling jokes and decided to join in... which was fine untill he started telling jokes about raping babies. even when we asked him to shut up he carried on telling the jokes and laughing. in the end one of the other guys had to literally push him into another room because he saw how upset one of my friends was getting. i dont understand why that ******* wants to be a doctor. if he can find things like that funny he shouldnt be working with people.

yea, the lectures were late! none of ours were thyat late, but they went on till about 11. was there a problem with you gettin food? they didnt give us long enough to wait in the queue and get served, so on the first night we went hungry till 11 then had to order pizza. what hall were you in? i know some of the vet people were staying close to the med people.


one thing they announced to us was that from now on, all people applying to med school will have to take a kind of aptitude test first, it will involve problem solving and stuff. i think its quite a good thing, but i didnt really hear that much about it :S



noone seems to have bene in 'the secret place' recently, its been very quiet there :S

yeah sometimes it was a bit of a rush to get dinner! lol we ordered pizza at 2am! lol we were staying in Sherwood halls, where were you? did u go see 4 vets and a blacksmith?

i was in ancaster, i dont think they were too far away... if i had gone on the second medlink we could have met up!

yea, i saw 4 vets... what can i say?? lol. most ppl walked into the room, spun round 180 degrees and walked right back out again. i quite enjoyed my self, but then again i was under the influence of intoxicating substnces.... they had a sax in the band, they could have played some good ska music! but instead they had to go and ruin fairytale of new york for me!! lol. did you see the quiz thing between the vet students and the med students?

lol the band were quite funny as it was mostly vet people that went so they changed a lot of lyrics! lol erm don't think i went to vets vs meds, but we did get into an argument with sum people who thought animals should only be used in a lab! Did you have many lectures in the medical centre hospital place thing. cos we had out last 2 days there and in the evening they locked the doors to the route we knew and we got lost for 40mins in the hospital! we erm didn't make that lecture!

My flight out of Norwich was cancelled, I'm stuck here till the new near. YAY!!!

I couldnt be happier.
