Carter has popped up in a few spoilers for season 12 so far, so yes he will be around for the odd episode in season 12. But he won't be a regular like he was before, he'll just do a few eps per season now.

I like the fact that he'll be back for a few odd ones. At the end I have to agree that his character was being strained a little, and that was awful. It'll be nice to see him refreshed a little, I hope.

it is definitely good that he'll be back but i fear that we'll also have a load of kem episodes he should just come back to the Er for a visit and maybe help out a little it or catch up with everyone...

heey ppl. i just bought series 5 on dvd. carter was so mean to lucy at the start of it!! i was shocked at his behavior!! lol. well, he is being nice again now so its all good (i am about half way through the series) 'the good fight' is such a good episode! i never saw these episodes when they were on TV, and although i love the ER we have now you can really see the difference, these older series are much better! btw, what series did Luka join?
I havent watched my series 5 yet, Im on a mini oc catch-up fest at the mo, but if I remember right, Luka comes in when Carol's just had the babies, so if its not the end of s5, which it probably isnt if she only just found out she's pregnant, then its the beginning of s6.

Indeed he was, and that was one of the reasons I first started to really dislike him, because he was such a jerk when Lucy was just trying to learn. :\

lol, i agree!! very knowledgeable (how do uspell that?? :S) i was sure lucy died in series 5... but obviously not as i have finished the whole series and she is still alive...
Lucy died in Series 6 I think. She was there for about a series and a half, maybe longer. Kovac was intially, if I remember correctly, drafted in to temporarily cover the Shifts Doug had. Carol has her babies mid series 6 I think, which then causes Abby to appear and take her place.
Was just wondering if anyone knew which episodes Cater appeared in and what the spoilers were about him?
