I agree; Neela as a character is not defined by her race, a few not very well developed references to culture differences. And the writers have dealt with race head on - with CLeo and Benton and now with Pratt. I think it's a real stretch to see Gallant's death as motivated by a desire to terminate a mixed race relationship and if Ray and Neela don't get it together I'm pretty sure that it can't be ascribed to any desire on the part of the writers to avoid such relationships. Unless she remains single or an Indian character is introduced purely for the purpose (horrible thought) she will be in a mixed relationship of one sort or another.

Everyone Rosey has a right to their own opinion and I again stand by what I have said in this forum on this, so we can all beg to differ, besides judging by all the spoilers being put about watch this space, and again I say I hope to be proved wrong, but the cynic in me says I will be proved right.

Yes you are entitled to your own opinion, but posting it here leaves it open to debate.

I don't think you will be proven right unless the reason they break up is stated as being due to race. It is just another drama story.

We will just have to wait and see Rosey.
