Someone's probably already posted this before, but does anyone know when the TV movie the librarian will be on - if at all over here, and if dvd is available yet over here?

Librarian being Noah Wyle's TV movie, kind of like an indiana jones style thing.

i think it was on..a month or so ago? unless that was a different noah wyle film that was on. [i know, i'm a great help. ]

Was on Sky a month ago, I think. I missed it, though.

The dvd is available on playusa. Don't know if that helps you though, as you'd have to have a multi region dvd player. If it makes you feel better, it looked a bit crap.

It was on over Christmas; not great actually but at least its use of every action movie cliche known to man was very knowing.

Thanks that makes me feel a little better. They are doing a Librarian 2 I think.

There is no way I know to get a zone 2 DVD of The Librarian from a UK site, but the German version of Amazon has a zone 2 version which plays in either English or German. If you have a credit card and can follow the German instructions, try http://www.amazon.de . For the search, the German title is "The Quest - Jagdnach dem speer des Schicksals"

I haven't seen the film, so I don't know if it's worth it, but it doesn't seem to cost very much. I hope that helps.

it is on sky movies today!! i cant remember what time or which sky movies so this really isnt that helpful... but it is on today, and it was this morning, i just missed it. so mebe they will be playing it alot over the next few days...

It wasn't brilliant I don't think; NW didn't really seem to sink his teeth into it.

But it was ironic in its use of images and set pieces from adventure films and it raised a few laughs for us.
