Pratt gets a surprise when the new attending doctor, Victor Clemente, poses as a patient to test the knowledge of doctors in the emergency room. Meanwhile, Kovac bonds with his former coma patient and contemplates bending the rules for her. A breast cancer patient convinces Abby to get her first mammogram. And Pratt's father, Charlie, tries to convince his son that he has become a responsible family man. (New Episode, Subtitles, Audio Described, 4 Star)
ER-I like Victor and I think he was brilliant addition to ER doctor, the main thing I like about him was the fact that he has latest technology at treating patient and I liked walking rounds-it remind me of scrubs a bit, Also I liked he tired his best to make sure everyone respect him. He was right just because you don’t like him doesn’t mean you can endanger someone life. I think there’s going to be some rivalry between Kovac and Victor.
The patient that woke-up and went back in a coma-I felt kovac was a little too close, I mean spend that much time with patient has to be difficult. As a doctor he became too close. Abbey taking mammogram, please don’t tell me they going do give her cancer just when everyone about to like her. I liked line ‘concubine’ line.
Okie dokie i'll do it! While i was watching last night one of my kids recognized the voice from Ice Age and couldnt figure out why the dude with the teeth wasnt Sid!

This episode was ruined at the end. James frickin' Blunt has to go and ruin it.
You guys had me way too hyped up about this episode. I'll start with what I didn't enjoy.
1) Ray. Really, why is he here? Are we going to get an answer soon? Because let's face it, the only reason why Shane West was introduced was to attract a teen audience to the show. They should be hooked now, so fly away Ray. Did we really need to see him having sex with Goth Chick? No.
2) So Susan's gone. It's been confirmed. Although I'm sure that SS was in the opening credits.
3) No Eve. I was actually quite surprised at how much I missed her prescence in the episode (even though she was still controlling the nurses on her day off) and I think it proves what a strong character she could grow to be. And there was no Inez either.
4) Clemente. Words cannot describe how much I already hate this character. From his entrance to his behaviour throughout the episode. He made me enjoy Morris. And no-one messes with Weaver and gets away with it, he made one big mistake there.
5) The return of Stephanie. Absolutely no point, except to portray Abby as "the all-knowing" once more.
But don't fear, there were plenty of things which I did enjoy.
1) Luka and Blaire. I really enjoyed their interactions tonight, despite being skeptical when I found out she was back at the beginning. This was the plot which I was most emotionally invested in and I enjoyed their interactions. The last scene was very beautiful (the music wasn't) in which he told her. I don't want to see Blaire die now.
2) Pratt and Olivia. I am surprised at how much I enjoy this coupling, and how she ties in with his father. And I can't help but hate Charlie Pratt for all the reasons his son does. He's a bad guy, but he's so nice about it that no-one notices. But although the fight between Pratt and Olivia was great to watch, the love scene that followed ... not so much (and they must have been cold).
3) Neela's one-liners. From "I think I fancy him" to her facial expressions, how could you not love our Neela? And when Clemente suggested Neela take surgery as an elective, I couldn't help but think about Neela cracking jokes during an operation. Will this suggestion make her think?
4) Abby and Dubenko. Despite the fact that they're making Abby out to be perfect (again), I can't help but emjoy her scenes with Dubenko. MT and LO play off each other very well, and it's fun to watch.
4) Clemente. Words cannot describe how much I already hate this character. From his entrance to his behaviour throughout the episode. He made me enjoy Morris. And no-one messes with Weaver and gets away with it, he made one big mistake there.
Hey it better than most doctor there-he even made prat look like a fool, that's not a easy thing to do
Absolutely right, BM - I, for one, shouted my fair share of profanities as the tv screen when James Blunt came on with his crappycrappy song. (Especially when this was contrasted by Damien Rice in House at 10pm, showing the whining mopey tosser how GOOD mopey music is meant to sound.)
Before I begin I would like to say:
WORST MOMENT, EVER: The off-hand way that Susan was written out. Jesus Christ, tptb! I don't know if Sherry Stringfield just left without notice or if her contract finished or something but really - she'd been in the series since the BEGINNING, even though she left and returned midway. But she was a MAIN character and that was just TERRIBLE!
*breathes*
Okay, well, now that's over with.
The episode was pretty good other than that. I like Clemente, especially when he wrote the name of that plant on his writey thing and held it up for Ray to cheat the toxicology guy. Very smooth. I'm sure I'd like Clemente even more, though, if I wasn't so perpetually scared of his teeth.
I didn't much care for Luka's whole thing with the coma lady; I guess that just didn't interest me. But I am getting more interested in Pratt's storyline.
And once again, some of the ER pure gold comes from Neela:
Best Line -
Neela: You said you liked his bloody shoes, you ******!
Best Moment -
Either that part where Neela and Morris are imitating Dr Clemente, or, Abby and Dubenko discussing his erectile function. Beautiful.

Yes she did; she decided to leave during the break and didn't come back to film any sort of exit arc. The first two episodes of the season were filmed at the end of S11 filming. Not much the writers could do about it.
I absolutely adore John Leguizamo!! I thought he was absolutely fabulous! I could write an essay but I'll just keep it at that...
Yeah the Ray scene at the end of the eppy shacking up with his girly friend was not really necessaryy.
Errrmmm Luka was gorge. I liked the interaction between him and the coma girl though I understand that maybe it was too close? But yeah I thought it was a good storyline.
Neela great as always. Abby too.
I liked the idea of Jerry going out too with some of the gang.
Oooh and I loved when Morris was going on about him doing the drums!! Haahhaaa!
And I liked the whole tabaco gigante (sp?) thing too!
Errrm as for Pratt I didn't really care much this epi. I just wanted Clemente to come back on! Sorry I had jus a fascination with him since Romeo and Juliet and haven't been able to live it down since!!

[QUOTE] and the Pratt and Dreama (sp?) from Sabrina bit made me want to puke. Dont really see the point in them tbh [QUOTE] Ah...knew I recognised her from somewhere, just couldn't quite put my finger on it.
I kept expecting the cast to burst into a round of Spectacular Spectacular when ever John Leguizamo came on the screen, hey it would certainly liven things up a bit.
Sid from Ice Age, Dreama from Sabrina, Whats her face from Raising Dad...it takes me back...

Wrong how? She did a runner, didn't want to come back and do any more filming - what else were they supposed to do? I don't understand why they're being criticised for this.
