lots of people are speculatiing that snape dies at some point- ppl are saying that he is still tryin to repay his debt to james potter, and does this by saving harry but dies himself.

in like, bok one or two, doesnt dumbledore say there is something that harry does not know yet? and will know when he is older... have we got told what that was? i think Harry will be related somehow to Dumbledore ot Voldermort... but probly not

All this has inspired me to re-read the 5th book! I'm going to start as soon as I finish what I'm reading now.

The place where I work on Saturdays is opening at midnight for the release, so I may have to work then! We have to dress up. Witches hats and everything. And Saturday the 16th is going to be crazy.

We had to dress up for the dvd release last time, and a guy I know came in an took a photo of me on his camera when I was wearing my cape and pointy hat.

I am so unbelievably thrilled that there is a Harry Potter thread, I may just pee my pants

i used to be a major harry potter fan! and i still like it! the films will never beat the books but i always enjoy watching them. hermione is the worst actress of all the kids but i have seen worse!

i was really dispointed with fred and george too! but there has been some wonderful adult casting with characters like, hagrid, mcgonnagle (sp?), sirius, snape, and the second dumbledore (i couldn't stand the first one).

and neville was cast quite well, at least for the earlier books. but i can't really see that boy being able to keep up, acting wise, with the future storylines...

am really looking forward to both the next film and the next book!

I spent a while reading the 5th when i first got it. About 2 weeks! LOL! I seriously could not put it down!

But every year I always make sure I make sure it lasts longer than a week and I spread my reading out! Cos I love the feeling when you're reading and you know you've got sooooooooooo many more Chapters to come! That warm and fuzzy feeling of tomorrow night you're gonna find out what happens with Harry in the Library or something! Lol! I love it! I love spreading it out!

Wasnt the thing that Harry couldnt be told until he was older that either he or Voldemort had to die and only they could kill each other?

Hadnt thought about Snape being the half-blood prince. Totally random but I thought the guy with Harry on the pictures of the front cover was Dumbeldore and do we know if he's half blood? That way he would have a role other than just protector/guider/one-of-much-sage-wisdom,

Jude, yep that was the Prophecy. Only Harry can kill Voldmort and only Voldemort can kill Harry. I'm sure it's that. I know for sure Harry's the only one who can kill Voldy. It's really sad not knowing who's gonna kill who!

And that whoever kills who will become really powerful. Very strange but, my bets are that Harry'll kill Voldy. Cos theres a rumor JK is gonna do another book after the 7th of Harry 'Grown-Up' after Hogwarts. Not sure about the 'Grown-Up' thing. :/

Call me sadistic but I think it'd be good for Voldermort to kill Harry. Its very unlikely to happen so we wouldn't expect it. But if she did never do any more books then there'd be complaints that the magical world was being left being ruled by evil. Maybe Harry will kill Voldemort but it'd need so much energy from him that he kills himself by accident. That'd be good. In a bad way, of course.

that is one of my favourite films! i love it when he sings and " the sun aint gona shine anymore" ahhhh love it!
and sense and sensibility he looks fine, especailly when he gets married

i am actually quite obsessed with him.....i got this DVD that was only released in USA called Dark Harbor- he puts the funniest american accent on! and u see him naked! and hes gay in it too.
