heey, okay, soeone posted these two things on myspace and i thoguht they were kool

1. Do you remember…

Before the MySpace frenzy.

Before the Internet & text messaging.

Before Mp3's and iPods.

Before girls ever wore boy pants.

Before PlayStation2 or X-BOX.

Before the 5 hours of homework you put off every night.

When light up sneakers and jelly-shoes were cool

When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs.

When we recorded stuff on VCRs & paid $3.50 for a movie.

When we called the radio station to request songs

When 2Pac and Biggie where alive.

Way back.

The games in the playground!

Tag.

Hide-n-Go Seek.

Red Light, Green Light.

Heads Up 7 Up.

Red Rover.

Hopskotch.

Handstands and Crabs.

Hula Hoops.

...

Reading R.L. Stine's Goose Bumps.

The annoying Nano Pets & Furbies that we loved anyway.

The yo-yo craze, the sticker phase.

Running through the sprinklers.

Crying when Mufasa died in the Lion King.

Happy Meals where you chose a Barbie or a Hot Wheels car.

Getting the privelage to sit in the front seat of the car.

Wait.

Watching Saturday Morning Cartoons in your PJ's still wrapped up in your Garfield comforter.

...

Hey Arnold, Doug, Rugrats.

The original Power Rangers

Or what about:

The Secret Life of Alex Mac.

Ren & Stimpy.

Double Dare.

Rocko's Modern Life.

AAAHH!! REAL MONSTERS.

Wild & Crazy Kids.

Clarissa Explains it All.

Kenan & Kel.

doug.

magic school bus.

pinky and the brain.

blossom.

Are you afraid of the dark?

--Who could forget Snick? & Nick @ Nite with Bewitched, I Dream of Jenie, The Facts of Life & I Love Lucy.

Where everyone wanted to be in love after watching The Wonder Years.

or nick jr. with face

gulah gulah island

little bear

under the unbrella tree

the busy world of richard scary

the adventures of winnie the pooh

....

Wearing your new shoes on the first day of school.

Class trips.

POGS

When Christmas was the most exciting time of year.

When 5 seemed like a million, & another dollar a miracle.

When you begged to go to McDonalds for dinner everyday.

When Toys R Us overuled the shopping centre.

When staying out late was 8:30

Go back to the time when

Decisions were made by going 'eeny-meeny-miney-moe'.

Mistakes were corrected by simply exclaiming 'do over!'

'Race issue' ment arguing about who ran the fastest.

Money issues were handled by whoever was banker in 'Monopoly'.

It wasn't odd to have two or three 'best' friends.

Being old referred to anyone over 20.

Scrapes & bruises were kissed & made better.

It was a big deal to finally be tall enought to ride the 'big people' rides at the fair.

When playing Nintendo was the hardest thing ever.

When Ninja Turtles ruled the world.

When a chocolate bar at the grocery store was the highlight of your day.

When the only thing you cried over was your mom being late to pick you up.

When stress was addition and subtraction.

When friendships were as complicated as who's house to sleep over and who's to TP

When shaving cream was just meant for play.

When a first kiss only lead to cooties.

When valentines day meant cards for all.

When birthdays were a class event.

.....Who would have thought youd miss the 90's so much?

and..

You know you're a 90's kid if...

You can sing the rap to "The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air".

You've worn leggings and felt stylish.

You yearned to be part of the Baby-Sitters club.

You use to love playing with your MY Little Pet Shop.

You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons.

You wore a ponytail on the side of your head and had scrunchies.

You remember reading "Goosebumps".

You know the profound meaning of "Wax on, wax off".

You have pondered why Smurfette was the only female smurf.

You took plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school.

You remember the craze then The banning of yo-yo's.

You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every
sentence...Not...

You knew that Kimberly, the pink ranger, and Tommy, the green Ranger were meant to be together.

You collected pokemon cards.

You wore socks over leggings scrunched down.

You knew what it meant to say "Care Bear Stare".

You knew all the characters names and their life stories on "Saved By The Bell".

You played and or collected "Pogs".

You used to pretend to be a MIGHTY MORPHIN Power Ranger.

You had at least one GigaPet or Nano and brought it everywhere

You watched the ORIGINAL Care Bears, My Little Pony, and Ninja Turtles

Yikes pencils and rubbers were the shit.

You remember when the new Beanie Babies were always sold out.

You used to wear those stick on earings, not only on your ears, but
at the corners of your eyes.

You've gotten creeped out by "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"

You thought it would be so cool to be Alex Mack.

You know the Macarena by heart.

"Talk to the hand" ... enough said.

You thought Brain from 'Pinkey and the Brain' would finally take over the world.

You were made to wear a pair of leggings with the straps on the bottom.

Bum Bags, or Fanny Pax whatever you called them.

You collected tazos.

I'LL BE BACK!

2 words ... SPICE GIRLS...

Spreading the Carby Love

I spend 23 hours a day wondering whether we’re wrong for each other, wondering whether the baggage we both bring would be enough to sink a small ship...But in the 24th hour, I realise I’ve been thinking about her for 23 hours and it always comes back to, there's something about her that I can’t stay away from. Something about her, that makes me wanna…love her.

Yes!

I seem to remember one time his jumper unravelled so high I was afraid he'd disappear...very scary moment that was. Ninja

I was an 80s kid, where's our list? That should be scary. Razz

Thunder...Thunder....THUNDER...Thundercats!
Thundercats are on the move, Thundercats are loose...

And 'Eeeeeighty days around the Wooooorld...'

We had the best theme tunes for our TV programmes, they don't make them like that now.

For all us 80's kids....

Hello children of the 80's. Read this, it will take you back...

Um Bongo, Um Bongo, They drink it in the Congo

Friendship bracelets were ties that couldn't be broken.

You know all the words to "Ice Ice Baby".

You wanted to be on "Jim'll Fix It".

You can remember what Michael Jackson looked like before he had plastic surgery.

You had one of those T-shirts that changed colour with heat(Global Hypercolour).

You know the profound meaning of "Wax on, Wax off".

You were upset when She-ra, Princess of Power and He-Man got cancelled.

You remember Madonna in her cone stage outfit.

You knew "The Artist" when he was humbly called "Prince."

You wore fluorescent-neon clothing...(if you can call it clothing!)

You could break dance (ok, you wished you could)

You remember when Amiga was a state of the art video game system.

You remember M.C. Hammer.

You can still sing the rap to "Fresh Prince of Bel Air"....

You can remember when it was Jazzy Jeff and The fresh Prince and NOT just plain Will Smith!

You own any cassettes.

You carried your lunch to school in a Gremlins, ALF or ET lunchbox.

You have ever pondered on why Smurfette was the ONLY female smurf.

My Little Pony, Gummy Bears and Transformers are familiar to you.

You had a Swatch Watch.

You believed that "By the power of Greyskull, you HAD the power!"

Big wheels and BMX's were the way to go.

With your pink (or blue) portable tape player, you sang to Kylie and Jason!

You owned Polly Pocket or Micro Machines.

You made Ken fall in love with Barbie.

Partying "like it's 1999" seemed SO far away.

You knew that Transformers were "more than meets the eye".

You wore a banana clip at some point during your youth.

You were led to believe that in the year 2000 we'd all be living in space.

You know what leg warmers are and probably had a pair.

You wore biker shorts underneath a short skirt and felt stylish.

You recorded songs off the radio withyour boom box.

You wore those wide, colourful shoelaces.

You never questioned why the A-Team were always imprisoned in places that had sufficient tools to build an armoured tank.

Dungeons & Dragons was your favourite programme.

You said "bright light, bright light" in a strange high-pitched voice.

You fell out with friends during heated arguments about the relative merits of Matt & Luke.

Cerise pink, electric blue and banana yellow have ever featured in your wardrobe or make-up collection.

You did the top toggle of your coat up around your neck without having your arms in the sleeves, and you knew you looked like a superhero.

Your new winter coat was best used to demonstrate that your wings were like a shield of steel.

You still remember when the A-ha video was the pinnacle of modern technology and you can still sing all the words.

Your best party dress was either a ra-ra or puff-ball skirt.

You remember watching a house inhabited by a jester, a pantomime horse and a woman who sneezed, and thinking that this was perfectly
normal.

You tried to convince your Dad to fit a strip of red lights on the front of a Capri so it looked like KITT.

You had more than 10 sweets in a 10p mix-up.

You hid behind the sofa whenever you heard the word "Exterminate!".

Girls - You owned a pair of Pixie boots, generally worn with leg warmers.

Boys - You owned a pair of pale grey slip-ons, generally worn with white towelling socks.

Ooh, you could crush a grape!

You held a chicken in the air or stuck a deckchair up your nose.
You wore legwarmers & tried to do the splits while jumping in the air while singing you were going to live forever.

Your best mate had a Soda Stream at home and you were jealous.

Any elderly Scottish lady sounds like Supergran

You remember playing British Bulldog,

When 'Computer' Tennis, Pac-Man and Donkey-Kong ruled

You remember hearing the tune then running out to buy an ice cream cone on a warm summer night - 99's, screwballs or a cider lolly.

Water balloons were the ultimate weapon.

Important decisions were made by going "eeny-meeny-miney-mo."

Pass this on to anyone who needs a
break - I DOUBLE-DARE YA!!!+

It's probably better if I don't try this game as my memories of childrens television centre on "Watch With Mother" (Rag, Tag & Bobtail, The Woodentops, Andy Pandy, Picture Book and the original (and best) Flowerpot Men), I remember when the telly closed down in between programmes, there wer only two channels and everything was in black and white.

"Still hot, baby".
