oh, no big deal really. ive got a bunch of funny quotes from the past, including several of a certain person not being able to change a light bulb and asking her neighbour to do it for her, not being able to drink out of a regular plastic 500ml bottle, not knowing how to light up a gas hob, not knowing that rib spreaders spread ribs...

force of habit from my irc (internet relay chat) days i guess, where we used to have scripts on our chat programs that would automatically capture quotes for us. chat quotes are hilarious when you look back at them. theres a great quote database if you wanna see what i mean.

its more difficult on here though, cuz you have to save any funnies manually. material not staying up permanently and getting taken down at regular intervals also doesnt help.

and gaz, i just did a search using the forum find thing and that quote is still around! its in the all questions thread!

most of the quotes i have though seem to be about me getting ripped by you lot...

Don't worry, Lynz. The Oasis bottle spout is at least 30% larger in diameter than a regular bottle. Attempting to bridge that gap can often be a hard and treacherous journey.

well, i got banned again at the start of last year for being only somewhat naughty, just when the board was kinda dying anyway (many were coming up to mocks and suchlike i think), so i didnt come straight back, thought id ride it out for a while and see.

the final nail in the coffin came when the few remaining people here were bullied into going to a rival board instead, so there was no point in coming back to a totally fragmented board.

many trickled back here though at the start of this year, so i just thought that this would be as good a moment as any to return. ive always been loyal to this board, always will be. there arent many veterans from the old board of 2002 left huh? looks like its just us and sarah and neil? i do intend to stick around again, but i fear itll never be like how it used to be though, our show is (however you look at it) slowly dying and the board with it. *sniff*
