Ok, so this place isn't exactly buzzing with excitement over season 14 - so why is that?

What do you think of season 14 so far?

I'm loving it, it's the best yet!
It's ok, but not as good as previous seasons
I'm only watching for 1 or 2 specific characters now.
The day/time it's on is difficult for me.
I've stopped watching the show altogether.

But I couldn't post anything for about 3 weeks.

Anyway, the series has been great so far.

None of the options apply to me. I watch it because I just enjoy it. I can't compare it to any previous season's because I was a latecomer to ER. I think I started watching when Carter and Luka were in Africa.

Anyway it helps that there are characters like Morris.

So far I think this series is great.
I'm however a bit disappointed with GV's/ Luby exit.
So much has been invested in Luby in the last two seasons, especially in S12. I find it difficult to get my head around the fact that we are expected to believe that Luby are doing things which are completely out of character.
From a lovely couple to two people who have both gone their own way an didn't even visit one another for many months. How did that happen? Completely unbelievable, especially since it involves a child.

I'm enjoying it.

Think there have been some quite good lines and think Morris has developed loads.

Average so far imo. The first part story arc was ok but nothing really engaging.

S15 should really bring the series to a close because it looks the writers are running out of ideas.

There hasn't really been a excellant season in a while ;/

Last weeks episode was really funny. LOVED the ice hockey match. And the fighting.
Morris was funny he had so many funny lines when he was winding Neela up.

I loved that episode too!

My sister missed that episode and I said to her she missed one of the best episodes of the season! :-)

I really am going to miss ER when it comes to an end ... but I guess all good things come to an end sooner or later.

The writers strike did this season a favour, as it has been the most unimaginative and boring to date.

A few good eps but overall the worse season to memory.

i'm one of those who stopped watching it, which i honestly thought would never happen! i used to never ever miss any episode and would insist that no one speak to me while it was on, and i'd turn the lights off and snuggle up on the sofa.

why did i stop? the cast. the new characters just didn't excite me, i love abby, neela and luka and was gutted when susan and then ray left.
the storylines aren't as good anymore, and if you can't love the characters you stop watching.
such a shame, i'd still love to know how it ends

surprisingly i have stopped watching ER, this is partly because i can never remember to watch it on a Saturday, and being in my first year of uni - i have plenty other things to fill my time with, and partly because the first episode of the series didn't have kovac in me, and this was upsetting.

What is even more upsetting, is that i watched the last episode and the one that is on right now. It would seem Luka and Abby are no more!!! what? why? this is just wrong - and like i said VERY upsetting.
From what i can gather Luka was in Croatia and Abby turned to drink. Did she have an affair or something that Luka can't forgive her for?

I can't believe that after all these years, ER would pull apart luby like that. Its just not right! this better only be temporary, or else i honestly don't know if i want to carry on watching

Abby slept with Moretti (who was chief of the ER for all of 5 minutes) and she was drinking again, she also put Joe in danger because of her drinking as far as I can gather (have missed some eps myself! Tragic)... all of which Luka is finding hard to forgive.

I'm really REALLY hoping this is gonna be a case of Sandy/Kirsten from the OC...as in, put them through the mill to prove their love is strong enough. If they don't end the show together I will be mightily upset and file it under 'crimes committed by tptb' along with Romano's death.

oh my goodness! cheating on someone like Luka with someone like him?? i can't believe it. Sandy and Kirsten's troubles never went that far though did they?
oh i'm all sad now... i really need to try and catch some repeats to see if i can understand on any level why Abby would do such a thing! Abby is one of my favourite characters, but that kind of behaviour i do not approve of at all!
I hate when TV shows take lovable characters and couples and just ruin them - i hope ER resolves this issue before it gets even worse. I get that it is difficult With GV leaving, but i am always a fan of the good old fashioned happy endings.
