hello, i am having a bit of trouble with the whole ER thing, iv started watching it beacuse me and my room mate [kelly] have just got a place together and she has this thing for ER.
Iv known her for about a year so i dont realy want te tell her to turn it over [ sorry i know this forum is for ER fans ], so i have decided to become a fan too.
Could some please help me out and catch me up, i watch the same episode twice a week and still dont understand whats happend.
erm iv startd watchin it in S12 so i cant reli help youu but so far from what iv seen .. the tall bloke calld luca and the woman who has just had a baby is called abby they are together and just had a baby calld joe .. joe was premature and came 2mounths early so ther wer some complications but hes ok!!
Lela (( o whatever her name is )) she was in bengl it like becham, her husband has just died he was in the army.

well thanks for the little catch up it has actully helped a lot, theres is so much going on in the first two episodes is stupid! they could have dragged it out 4 months and months.
But on the other hand there must be something big about to happen if all of this is being sorted in the first few episods!!

Her name is Neela, the paramedic is called Gates and is played by John Stamos(?).

BTW, just so's you know, you guys are referring to things that happened in episode 13.2 which hasn't aired on Channel 4 yet, so it still counts as spoilers.

Don't fret; all you have to do is be aware of when episodes air on C4 so that no-one without digital can be spoiled, or, as you say, write SPOILER ALERT at the start of your post (with several lines of space following) or - really important - in the thread title.

Ok... im looking at a cast photo atm so i will go along the line and tell you a bit about htat person and there story lines.
Dr Kerry weaver - Has a toddler(or a bit older)son called henry with her lesbian partner who was called sandy but sandy died in a fire(she was a fire fighter) Kerrys pretty tough and bossy most of the time, shes the chief of staff... *spoiler*Or at least was until last E4 episode
Dr Neela Rasgotra(spelling of last name not right) Recently got married to Dr. Micheal Gallant but he went to iraq and was killed in a truck explosion. She was room mates with Dr. Ray Barnett but they had some chemistry and so she moved out becuase i think she felt guilty or something.
Dr. Greg Pratt: Bit of a ladies man, went out with Dr.Chen(spelling?) but she left. Dont know what to say about Pratt. He was best friends with micheal gallant and help neela out now trying to get her back on her feet.
Dr.Abby Lockhart: Was a nurse but went back to med school and became a doctor. Past relationships mainly consist on Luka and Carter who has left now because he went to africa. Has had a Baby with luka as you know.
Dr. Luka Kovac: Just had a baby with Abby, dated Sam for a while but it didnt work out, forgotten why now, maybe because of her ex? Cant really think of any story lines for some reason.
Nurse Sam Taggart: Has a son called alex, dated luka, in the season finale last season her convict ex came to the hospital and escapped jail, kidnapping sam and Alex at the same time, both got away as you know. She is a personal caregiver to this man who i've forgotten the name of(the man who picked her up from when she escaped from her Ex) He's rich and she lives with him in his mansion.
Dr. Ray Barnett: Used to be just doing medical as a side job to being a rock star but he changed his motives and now is dedicated lol. Info on him and neela in neelas section, not sure if he still likes her?
Dont think im looknig at an up-to-date photo because i swear thats not all the main people.
Theres also a paramedic who now is a med student who fancys neela. Ermmm Cant think of what else.
I just don't like seeing newbies and unspoiled people getting all tangled up over mistaken spoilers, so I thought I'd give you a heads-up early on.

I forgot morris! he's the ginger one, has about 4 kids from when he donated sperm to a sperm bank lol. but htat was jsut a one off eppy i think. He got offered a large salary for doing pharmacuticles(spelling?) selling new drugs but now has his job back He's like the little annoying one, well used to be he's got better over the seasons

Luca and Abby only recently (last series) got back together, and then the pregnancy was a surprise to them both... he is croatian and lost his family in a war before moving to usa. he is quite high up in the doctor rank. abby i think is a bit troubled because of her bipolar mum and stuff, but they're good together imo i dont really know a lot, im no expert but i thought i'd join in. last xmas luca bought abby a compass because they "always seem to find each other" lol in that episode she then told him she was preggers. dunno if i've added an valid/helpful info at all though

hi kelly! Dr Carter is actor Noah Wyle... He was a main character from the beginning i think, but he left at the end of series 11 i think. but did a cameo in series 12 so you would've seen him in the Darfur episodes in series 12? the man who Pratt accompanied. Thats him... he used to be a Dr but tbh i don't know much about him other than he used to date Abby, got Tenyear, met a woman (called Kem) on his Dr travels who got pregnant but they're child didnt survive causing trouble with they're relationship & stuff.
