Ok, this is the usual request wrt people not posting unmarked spoilers pleasepleaseplease....
PLEASE try not to post anything about episodes which haven't aired on Channel 4 yet unless you've given a
spoiler warning of some kind.
Spoilers include
anything from the new season that hasn't aired on Ch4 - it's still a spoiler even if it's been on E4 since not everyone on this forum has E4.
It also includes the 'Next week on ER...' clips at the end of each episode.Once something has been shown on Ch4, it's no longer a spoiler.
Examples of what counts as a spoiler:
"OMG, __(character name/hint of who it is)___ DIES?!!!"
"LOTS OF BABIES!! *Spoiler*'.
If there are details of a future storyline included in a thread/thread title, it's going to give that storyline away to unspoiled people who didn't want to know.
To avoid annoying unspoiled people you could just put, for example,
'Carter *spoiler*' as the thread title if you've heard something that's going to happen about Carter and want to discuss it - or you could just put
'Spoiler'.
Spoiled people will know it's something they probably want to read, and unspoiled people will know they should probably steer clear.
If you want to discuss spoilers in a thread that has no warning in the title that the thread will include spoilers, you can either;
*Give a warning before you post the spoiler, and mark out where it begins and ends so people know what is/isn't safe to read
OR (and this seems to work quite well here):
*You can post the text in the Navy Blue coloured text, which is difficult for most people to read.
All that's being asked here is that a little extra care is taken when posting spoilers. Unspoiled people try hard not to read spoilers, and it can really annoy them if someone else then comes along and posts a spoiler in plain view with no warning at all.
(And trust me, it ain't pretty when unspoiled people have something spoiled for them, lol.
)

totally 'spoiled' fan, I love spoilers. I just also hate seeing bad feelings arise when unspoiled people have something ruined for them. :\)
