well i quite liked this one, there was a lot of humour so that's fun, and omg dubenko (sp) and abby what on earth! that was so funny! and poor jerry, lol. sam was much better this ep i thought which i'm glad about. Luka was pretty.
the bit that annoyed me so much was the coma patient. i knew they were gonna do it as well, as soon as she wakes up she can talk perfectly, as if that would happen
good to see weaver again, and i am liking neela more and more each week, didn't think that would happen!

Do you know what happened to the boy who suddenly got everything he ever dreamed of? He lived happily ever after.

This was a good episode, there so much i want to say but i'm in bad mood so i don't really feel like reviewing, asking abbey to sleep him him was low but i knew as soon as they introduced that call-girl abbey would ask her to help the doctor out. did anyone feel a little unconfortable when he talking about his rectile function -had to close my eyes.
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode, mainly because Weaver got more airtime in this episode than she got all of last season.
Firstly, the whole Abby/Dubenko saga. I think that Dubenko has guts, although I obviously wouldn't have asked Abby not to sleep with me if I found out that news. That being said, Dubenko is facing up to the fact that he has cancer and he knows what is going to come. I don't agree with what he asked Abby, but it was nice to see that Abby is still there for him despite this. And I loved that Abby pointed Shauna the sex therapist towards Dubenko.
And Abby is so much better this season. The hair, the coffee throwing. She's never been better.
Luka really seems to be in a downward spiral due to his break-up with Sam, and I have to wonder if I really want to watch him change after a break-up with such a horrible woman. Although I can understand where he is coming from, I couldn't help but fear what he was going to do to that teenage kid who started shouting at the cell phone guy. And that coma patient ... overhyped, she was hardly in it!
I'm continuing to love Inez, but I've come to the conclusion that she's a student nurse. And she seemed to become her own character this week. I liked the exchange which she shared with Sam at the end, and Sam didn't entirely make me want to rip her brains out when she confronted Eve. And as for Eve ... there are no words to describe my hate for her.
Was there any point in Ray's plotline? I found myself bored during his scenes, but then again he is a bore.
As for Neela's patient storyline, this was a fine example of how much she cares for her patients and I didn't think she went too far in trying to make sure the mother was safe. After all, Neela is a caring and considerate person even if she doesn't always show it and she braved the rain to make sure that the whole family was safe.
Lessons learnt: Don't let Jerry go out in the rain. Never.

As far as patients went - I don't remember any patient storylines that I found particularly thrilling, but the episode was pretty good all the same just because of the little bits of all the characters again - especially Weaver! How souper was she?? She's got my Favourite Quotation points with either:
Morris: Dr. Weaver! It's so nice to see you back down in the trenches with us... Weaver: Really? That makes one of us. (And then the noise she made later to shut him up! What a GREAT noise!)
OR
Weaver: WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO KING FUNSHINE?!
Souper.
Favourite Moment - I'm not too sure about that really, I quite like the Dubenko/Abby conversation outside, and Ray's short clip with him on the phone, joking about venus flytraps, but I think I'd have to go for the end part with Luka and Sam in the trauma room, simply because it was just so great to see Sam's FINALLY gotten over herself so they can work well together again. Jesus, woman - ya took your time.
And Eve really doesn't bother me; I find her lightly amusing...

*shrug* I didn't write the blurb, I just copied it over. I tried to find the RT one but I'm not so familiar with the website when it comes to E4, and didn't have my copy to hand. :\
The guy in the car was a jerk, but throwing coffee that might be hot enough to cause nasty burns? Baaaaaad Abby...just smash the windscreen next time, don't physically hurt people...

This episode was really good. But was there any point in the coma patient. It had it in the TV guides about part of the episode but a whole lot more went on rather than that. Hmmmmmmmm. We didnt even get to find anything about her in the end either. And how the hell did she manage to speak properly. There was a programme about a guy that had been in a coma for like 19 years or something and he could hardly talk.
Anyways. Im reallllyy liking Abby now. The whole Dubanko thing made me laugh so much. Loved her throwing the coffee.
Eve- B!tch, go away. Even though she is bringing some spice
Glad Sam and Luka can work together fine. Id rather have them like that than together and fighting. Well, Sam moaning.
Loved the Jerry getting hit by lightning. Dont ever send Jerry out in the rain! Everyone seemed to be falling over too. Someone somewhere else must have done a clever thing and applied for an egg card or something.
The Ray bit was just boring. Any point in him? Well he is another pretty face but thats what Lukas for.
Hm hm hm. I honestly cant really remember this episode that well, so thats all I have to say.
Lex: Trust me, Clark. Our friendship is going to be the stuff of legend
i didnt think we would have because they wouldn't have made it the episode summary if that was it.. either that or there just stupid

I liked this episode. I hope this means the series is going to get better cause at the moment I'm starting to prefere House. I did like the Jerry hit by lightning that was good. I thought it was really sweet when he asked Abbey to sleep with him. He obviously likes her as we have seen in previous episodes. He seems stable which is alot better than her other romances.

Well, today's wasn't a patch on last week but I still enjoyed it- mainly for the Weaver..she really does rock!!
Good to see Sam being more mature- I loved how she handled Eve's orders, just getting on with it...taking the high road! And glad to see her and Luka back to a good working relationship.
Loved the Abby/Dubenko scene but the call girl thing was quite predictable too (but I did love the bit when she pretended to be a cardio therapist and remembered Abby's speech lol)
Loved Neela's dedication. (And it was 6 years the girl had been in a coma)
Best Moment- Neela's conversation with the car crash woman when she admitted she'd done it on purpose.
Best quote- Kerry: Are you afraid you'll melt?? Jerry: Well what about lightning, I'm a pretty big target! Kerry: Well you'll just have to move in a zig-zag pattern.
Bit of a crap episode really - the only highlights for me were the returns of Weaver and Jerry to the ER floor. Oh, and Mr. Funshine!
I found the Dubenko/Abby conversation predictable after he was going on about erectile function and stuff. Now, I know he's always fancied her but did he really think he had a shot? Probably not, but I'm sure you go all out when you discover you may not be able to have sex again!
Loved Neela trying to get to the bottom of the car accident. She's so patient focussed. I love that about her character.
Ray - what was the point?
Sam was better this week, but to be fair, she couldn't have got much worse! She did a very 'Carol Hathaway' thing in taking care of some kids regardless of whether she was on the clock or not. Loved her little chat with Inez as well. Definately the best Sam episode so far this series.
Coma woman - again, what was the point? Unless I fell asleep, I did hear Luka explain to her what happened
Eve's a tad anoying, but I think that's just the characteristics of someone in management. It was good that she halted that stupid seperation of Luka and Sam - showing she can at least see when she's wrong.
Face of the week: Jerry after coming back to get Mr. Funshine. Poor lamb!
Quote of the week: Luka: What do I say to her? Sam: How about your mom's dead and you've been in a coma for six years.

you kow what? i ALWAYS lvoe the ER episodes where they are drenched in rain... i don't know but i generally like rain and the rainy episodes always remind me of old ER... anyway...
luka: aw he is so cute! it#s kinda fun seeing him fighting with a nurse instead of sleeping with her... (sorry i couldn't resist..) i am looking forward to even more luka this season
abby: her scene with dubenko was HILARIOUS!! i wasn't actually expecting it... but she was great in this ep! (lol at the coffee throwing...) and lol, the best lines: abby: do you wanna hop on, i mean, are you coming... to the... !
kerry: always good to see her back! and the storyline with jerry was funny! (lol, kingshine!)
neela: she is good this season! and her storyline was interesting, i would have liked to see what happened to that mother!
morris: he's a great character!
ray: what exactly is the point to this character? i mean we have agood looking one (luka) a bad boy (pratt) and he doesn't really do much else other than look pretty and be a little bit of a bad boy... ?? what's the point?
good epiosde! ER is getting back into the swing of things...
And In The End The Love You Take Is Equal To The Love You Make
- Remember that, the Beatles were all about love, it's all you need. Peace and love everyone!
I think we saw a sensetive side to Ray in this episode. the way he was with the baby. I think he's main purpose though is to remind Neela what she is missing and not to be so uptight.
