That's pretty strict Gaz, but over on the Lost s/f forum we stop spoilers dead in their tracks with a single glare. It's quite an art form we've perfected.

Hi Akee Fruit, I suppose I consider there to be two types of newbies - when you first ever start posting on theses forums and have the deligtful label 'new member' instead of any stars, and also to an extent you're a newbie when you begin posting on a forum you have never previously posted on. But I oculdn't define one for sure.

Hello PinkSparkle, thanks for the welcome It's very good of you to keep your spoilers to yourself! I never intentionally look for any spoilers, but I have accidentally run into them - mainly from thoughtless, or just plain spiteful, posters, but like you I would never reveal them to anyone!

Hey everyone, I don't think I introduced myself properly when I first came on here so I'm doing it now, better late than never eh?!

I was a first class bonafide newbie a few weeks ago with my new member status and everything (felt like I didn't fit in AT all!!) but I've managed to scrape together a little silver star which I'm quite impressed with if I do say so myself but kiowa warrior you put me to shame with your 5600+ posts - get you!!

I love ER (bit pointless being on here if I didn't) and absolutley hate spoilers too!

yeah you might have - I ventured on there for a few days but seing as I find hollyoaks a bit boring at the moment and everyone on there (except a select few - yourself included!!!) post in text language (pet hate of mine) I probably won't go there too often.

I'm still trying to find my feet a bit to honest but this forum seems to be one I'll visit lots.

Yeah, the Hollyoaks forum kinda sucks. And I hate that everyone loves Justin and Becca and hates Andy McSurfie, who is just voicing his opinions in an un "txt tlk" manner.

Right, I'm back, Kiowa you weren't joking about spinning stars! I had a peek on the big bro forum and there are people on there with over 28 THOUSAND posts. Now, I know it might sound impressive to some but it made me think...get a life!

nah, the double post is for lamers. it is the triple post that is considered the pinnacle of forum posting prowess, as demonstrated by the following:

as you can see, when forum members display such posting prowess, it is customary for others to offer recognition and applause, as can be seen in some of the examples above.

however, one should not try to pull a fast one on the rest of us and just gratuitously insert a triple for no reason whatsoever (like in this famous ria example).
