Only recently stumbled across the ER section on the TV.com website. (don't know how I missed this site before). Its a really good site for episode overviews & reviews.
The top episodes section is very revealing. I noticed the first episode of S13 is rated the most popular episode ever. I didn't look at the page so I couldn't tell you how many "votes" it is based on.
I was glad to see "All in the Family" & "Be Still my Heart" 2nd & 3rd.
the first episode of S13 is rated the most popular episode ever.
I don't get it, that ep hasn't aired anywhere yet...

That depends on what you are looking for.
I don't know why the ratings for 13.1 would be shown because the episode hasn't aired yet. It is scheduled to go out late Sept. ( US) I remember seeing something on that site saying that reviews posted before the episodes have aired will be deleted. Therefore I presume that the problem will be corrected soon.
IMDb is good for looking at what actors have done previously. I also go on here for some quotes, though I will now have a look at tv.com for quotes too (thanks Fiona )

ERheadquaters has really good episode summaries and a Forum where everyone is catered for, as well as a good media section with articles etc and it has links to just about every type of ER site you could think of. ERforums.com is more controversial, but it has some very lively contributors and lots of pics. It's probably true to say that the former is more pro Luka/Abby though it does have other fans and the latter is rather rabidly anti Abby, but has supporters of just about every other character. I find IMDb a bit superficial for ER, but terrific for feature films.
Yes it has, I have been reading it for a while and have registered an account because I'm hoping to catch the new series when it goes out in the US. I have not posted yet but from what I have seen there seem to be a few people with 'strong personalities ' on that board and I have to amid that on some occasions I had to sit on my hands while I was reading some of the msgs.
Oh, I didn't mean it to sound like that. Where ever you go nowadays, boards or real life there is nearly always ' the one' . I don't mind heathy debate but as I said I haven't posted yet so I'm not really in a position to say what it is really like.
my favourite er forum is at fanforum.com they have loads of threads that cover all characters and all pairings possible (abby/neela anyone!?!?) i particularly like the roomies thread as they are a very friendly and supportive bunch.

My comment was based on my personal views and may be very different from yours. I think everybody should make up their own minds about others. Most people we talk to on boards are strangers, unless O'course the few who have met in real life. You get to know people from what they post, but this may be very different from who they are in real life. I never meant to offend anyone with my original comment and I have no intention to share my feelings about others here. In general I think most people who post on the boards I visit are genuine nice people who like to chat about shows I enjoy too. ( And to have fun. ) But there are exceptions. Nothing wrong with that Imo.
