Jesus died and rose from the dead in 3 days. It took Jack Bauer less than an hour. And he's done it twice.

Well. You know. Technically speaking everyone that steps foot in the ER dies. In the Sylvia Plath sense, 'cause we're all going to die some day and life is limited but death is ultimate and blah blah blah depressing poem. Whether everyone dies IN the ER is a different matter. And a lie.

Generally, but not always. And besides, sometimes its about the people who die, just as much as it's about the ones that live. Take - The First Snowfall, I think the eps called, from Series 9 or 10. Ok in that a family - a mother and two sons, come into the ER after being hit by a car whilst building a snowman. I think the mother dies (though can't remember), but one of the boys certainly does. But the boy who dies' organs are able to be used to save the life of his brother, and so the kids died but still there is a focus on him, because of what's happend to him and reason he died.
