hey guys, is it snowing yet where you are? it has been snowing ALL WEEK over here! we have os much snow in the garden. it looks beautiful but it's very cold! and i have to go and shovel the path in front of our house later which is annoying! but i love snow!! i'm thinking we'll have a white xmas this year... what about where you guys are?

We have no snow where I am, which I am happy about at the moment as I have to go to the hairdressers at 1pm. Don't like driving in the snow but it can snow anytime after I get back for me. I hope if we do get some that it snows loads I am desperate to go sledging and want to build a !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We haven't had any snow either but it is freezing cold. I don't really want it to snow while I'm still at uni cos it puts me off walking to the library to get any work done.

I spent all my journey home from work yesterday saying "I'm going to die, I'm going to die". I HATE driving in the snow, a little skid here and there and I'm in tears.
Otherwise I like the snow (especially if the schools close).

don't they salt the streets or something? our schools never close when there's snow. it works so like clockwork every year, everythign just seems to be taken care of and things still run pretty much as efficiently as usual... i wish teh schools would close!

They are always late in getting the gritters out. Hopeless really. You'd think they would learn some lessons from places like Austria. Im quite sure politicians have had junkets to observe how it works there.
Gritters aren't much good when they are behind you! I crashed in snow and 5 minutes after a gritter goes by! Typical!
One flake falls from the sky and my car stays where it is! Many a time I have abandonned my car cos of snow, I can tell you now that this did not please my little brother when we shared a car!!!

We had no snow but my Swedish friend at university can't believe what the fuss is about and how we come to standstill at the slightest bit of snow!
tat's what i think... it's like in america they have so many snow days... here pretty much on teh first day of snow we all have our winter tires on, the bus have chains, the streets and pavements in the cities are cleared and all the school are opened. we even all have slippers in our lockers in school so that the foors don't get wet... btu i was talking about it with my mum and she said that there was no point it in england because you so rarely haev snow... considering a lot of austria is alpine region of course we're prepared... we're used to it... so it kind of makes sense...

We didn't get any snow! The paper is such a liar, it said the south-east was going to have a BLIZZARD! But we got nothing! Nothing! Except a bit on Thursday or Friday, but I was at college in a different county so didn't see any of it. I want a snow day. It's really cold, and there is no point in coldness without snow.

I know! I wanted it to snow! All we had was a stupid sleet storm, and c'mon - That's just exceptionally cold rain. Meh. I swear the South East never gets the good weather. It's a conspiracy...

Its snowing!! Started at about 10 this morning and hasn't stopped since! So excited, theres so much snow and we had the most amazing snowball fights at school this lunchtime. I have however spent the last 4hrs on the bus trying to get home
Snow all over Wolverhampton all day today and nowhere seems to have been gritted.
It usually takes me about 30 mins to get home, today it basically took 3 hours - and I'd finished early as well! I should have been home by 4.45, instead got in at 7.00.
