I certainly found Luka and Abby the most interesting, so I vote for them. Abby&Carter and Carter&Susan were blah to me. Luka&Sam just weren't written well.

I spend 23 hours a day wondering whether we’re wrong for each other, wondering whether the baggage we both bring would be enough to sink a small ship...But in the 24th hour, I realise I’ve been thinking about her for 23 hours and it always comes back to, there's something about her that I can’t stay away from. Lol. I remember loving Carby way back when so I should probably vote for them. But I won't (sorry!). I second a revival of Carol and Doug. Who cares that they were together when they left - if Carter can still get to be on our screens showing his good samaritan self in Africa, I fully support my dilusional idea of a few Doug and Carol scenes. They would totally make my day.

Well, apart from Doug and Carol whuch was meant to be, I think Carter was best with Anna Del Amico (Maria Bello). I know they never finally got it together, but IMHO , they had more chemistry than any of Carter's other women.
Never was a Carby. I also prefer Luka with Sam

lol that was funny! of course doug and carol were the ultimate, and i was a REAl carby for a while... but...dare i say it... i think now i am more of a luby than anything else. i think it's that after all this time, when other couples have been forgotten, the writers have still made time for luka and abby to have some sweet touching scenes together. and these two just have chemsitry... I forgot about Anna! I totally agree with you though - her and Carter were great together! She was a great character - I warmed to her in the series 4 opener (Ambush) when she refused to let that TV crew film her. Great stuff - show's she wasn't afraid to just follow the crowd! |

I love Anna! She's one of my favourite characters. Very underrated too, even though she was only there for a season.

Abby and Jake Scanlon for me. Although they never very successfully got together in the first place (so perhaps they can't exactly get back together). I though they worked really well together.
Can you point at it . . . . is it on the trolley ?

Can we pick someone not on this list?
If so, Kerry and Kim. It would give Kerry a lot more screen-time (hopefully - not that her whole relationship with Sandy had more than 5 minutes total!) plus it would make for some good acting, writing, emotion, drama etc. Plus since Wendell left we've had a small gap in the regular Psyche/social worker position so this could shoot two birds with one stone, so to speak.
