Anyone else manage to stay up late enough to watch this?
I did and although I enjoyed the epi I have some concerns for next season.
Firstly, I think Maura and Goran are so at ease with each other as actors now, their scenes were very believable. The scene at the end was exactly how many women find their homes when returning after a hard day at work. Further, I enjoyed Abbys look of contentment as she saw her 'men' together. I liked that very much.
However, I'm struggling to see how ER will manage next season with GV doing less episodes. For me he is the only male actor on ER who has screen presence, and I think this will be seriously missed next season. I appreciate it will take time to get used to Tucci's character, but as Luka is off to Croatia, I think it will be a while before Tucci can fill the vacuum.
IMO he has been introduced too late and with too little background to 'replace' Kovac. Not that anyone could replace Luka!!
i really enjoyed this epi, probably more than i did last weeks.
i also agree with kyoto, i think MT and GV have great onscreen chemistry, i loveee'd the bit when Abby came home and Luka was watching the Croatian football.
I like Moretti and personly i think he will make a good new cheif. I think its good to see Pratt getting put in his place every now and then.
That Larry chap reminds me of a season 10 Morris. Im afraid to say i think Ray = dead, surely if he was still alive someone would have contacted the hospital from another hospital.
Gates, i HATE him even at the end when he hugged Sarah it seemed he still dident really what to stay with her, he showed very little emotion.
It's a shame the Ray storyline didn't continue in this episode, grrr. I can't believe the term 'Luby' got a mention in the episode But, why would they leave their house for Larry to watch? Speaking of Larry, his scenes with Sam were really funny "I hope we don't end up like that." Sam's face, hehe. Gates was quite awful to Neela, but no suprise there. Moretti I guess will be one of those we love to hate. Hope & Morris, yay!
