The Andre/Clyde stuff was excellent patient interaction that I don't think we've properly seen in ages. Really really really was good to see it. The ending had me close to tears. Very good acting, I thought, from the guest star.
Loved the Luka/Abby/Nanny stuff, too. They were excellent.
Ames is up to no good, I see.
"One day my logic was proven wrong because the tide came in and gave me a sail"
very good episode. loved the sam and morris patient thing. i thought after last weeks epi the Ames storyline would have been finished, but he seems pritty persistent. (i got quite frustrated when he sweet talked abby, but i was serprized she dident know who he was)
I wonder how much footage of Li'l Joe they shot to get those smiles and gurgles. I loved the nanny montage.
Abby never went to court with Luka so there's no reason for her to know what he looked like. And - remember that frog!
The actor playing the DID patient (Sean Hatosy I think) was excellent.
Gates and Neela - meh. How uncomfortable did she look sprawled on that table and trying to talk whilst being kissed. I'm sure that was meant to be hot but it left me cold.
Aww, Archie - we don't think you're a joke. Well, not all the time.
i thought the DID patient was great. and i loved the way morris handled it. i was so sad for him when he said he knew he was a joke! the only good thing sam did last night was tell him he wasnt a joke.
otherwise i thought she was bit of a cow last night. especially when she was shouting at the patient threatening to hurt him!!!
i also didnt like that ray dismissed morris so much. which is strange for me cos i am a ray fan. felt really bad for him when he saw neela and gates kissing, that little heart broken look on his face.
i really dont understand what is going on with neela - why has she suddenly jumped gates!!! she never would of been kissing in the hospital before this season.
yes i saw the smile joe had on his face in the nanny interview - so cute!! ames better not do anything to his frog!!
Sam was shouting in order to lure the other personality out so that she could get consent - she wasn't being horrid for the sake of it.
Luka and the hot Brazilian - he was such a bloke and Abby's amused, tolerant look at him was I'm sure instantly recognisable to most women in relatiosnhips with men.

yes i did realise why she was doing it but it still made me not like her - i know kinda irrational!
Meh- I missed the last section of the episode which I'm slightly bummed about but will have to catch up on Sunday or Monday... other than that- I LOVED this episode (what I saw of it!) So so good to see Morris with an actual medical storyline...yet we still got the comedy from him with the TV thing...(the jumping in the bin trolley thing- comedy GENIUS)
Didn't like Sam shouting at Hope she sounded arrogant and mean she could have said it in a nicer way! However, thought Sam was great in the trying to get consent scene.
Ames freaked me out! And I don't reckon Abby would have accepted the money from him- she's too suspicious. It didn't sit right with me.
Crenshaw is still annoying me. Looks like Ray might be getting more screen time though which is v. nice And I didn't believe Neela would have jumped Gates either- not before finding out the explanation for the woman he lives with anyway.
Best line- Frank: If you ask me one more time I'll hit you so hard you'll turn brunette!
Top notch episode. Excellent writing + acting = satisfying drama.
The more screen time Morris has the greater his character becomes. It was good for him to get the main case of the episode. An interesting medical problem and Archie finally came through with the goods, even though Sam does take alot of the credit for the way she handled the patient. I actually liked Sam for the first time in a very long time.
But where was Kerry when Morris needed her to double-doctor?
My highlight: the look on Ray's face when he saw Gates on top of Neela. Priceless.
God, the ending made me cry. Brilliant. And, it was great to see Morris get a serious storyline. The interaction between him and Sam was nice. I actually liked Sam today for once. Abby and Luka always make me laugh. The nanny interviews and Abby's rant about Crenshaw Neela and Gates was just cringeworthy. Their 'passionate' scenes were as stiff as a board. Poor Ray having to see that.

Are you actually surprised Sam acted the way she did with Hope? Would you like it if someone lied to you? No. Especially if and when Sam's job was on the line! She could've gotten into serious trouble.
This was such a good episode! Felt like I was watching a classic early ER episode...I liked the fact that the main part of the story was focussed on a medical condition...which I think ER handle really well generally. I kinda like Sam usually and thought she was good in this episode! And I always love watching Kerry Weaver! I think this is my favourite episode of Season 13 so far!
