Am a huge Luby fan myself, but am wondering why Carby evokes such strong feelings on E.R forums?

What I mean is: Luka and Abby went out for some of season 7 and 8 before they split and have also been an item since the near the beginning of season 12, yet some people still want Carby back. In comparison Abby and Carter got togeather in the last epi of season 8 and by the end of season 9 he was in the Congo. So Luby has existed for much longer than Carby.

Now I know Carter and Abby were friends for a couple of seasons before they got together, but Luka and Abby also stayed good friends between their two spells together.

So why do people still hanker after Carby? I'd be interested to hear everyone's views?

Although i'd love Carter to come back, it's not so he'd get back with Abby. I agree with you that Luby is much better, they're perfect together!

I love Luby! I dont see why people want Abby and Carter back together becasue her and Luka make such a great couple. They are so cute with baby Joe now. Luka and Abby are the best ER couple.

Well, people like what they like; I can understand them having wanted to see the thing resurrected in the past but surely the writing was on the wall long before Luka and Abby got back together, never mind had a baby, never mind got married. No connection between carter and Abby since they split really, although I know some people see signs and portents in everything. As things stand I can't see any way to reunite them that would be even remotely plausible.

Probably because when I first started watching this programme I was more of a Carter fan than Luka. Also I hate how the show spent ages having Cater pine after Abby, get together with her only for them to break up when he went to the Congo. IMHO if Noah Wyle hadn't been leaving the showm, me thinks we might have had ourselves a little Carby wedding, since Carter was about to propose. I never like Kem. She irritated me.

That said I am a fan of Luby.
